The ranger in duty was very helpful as were the campground hosts. The sites are spacious and the campground was quiet and peaceful.

Campgrounds getting a bit worn, but still a great place overall. Please add recycling!!!!

Nice sites, little tight length wise. Good hosts. NOT a quick stop, long slow drive from "town". Good hot showers with weird shower heads.

Rv site was fine. All host and clean faclities. No camp store and no ice available. All sites were full so why no camp store.

Twice we were forced to leave the campground for 2 days in a 14 day period. At the first closure our complete reservation was cancelled and we lost our spot and when we tried to rebook we had to take 2 different spots and move during our time period. The camp hosts were wonderful and just as dismayed at the cancellations as the campers. The second closure was handled better with cancellation of only the 2 days.

The campground itself was very nice and the space between campsites was ample.Like most state parks all the showers were in some sort of disrepair although usable. The dump site was designed by someone who never dumped a tank before. The was a 8" curb all around the inlet and the whole dump site was elevated another 8-10 inches above the raod surface, so it made it almost impossible to dump our tanks. Ridiculous!

Great last minute find. We walked 16 miles in two days. Loved the powder white sand.

Fort Pickens CG is a great spot with amazing beaches and interesting historical places to visit. Everything was very nice with the exception of the showers. They definitely need an update: the shower curtains were moldy, paint was chipped, several didnt have seats or hooks for towels and clothes. Most disturbing was the slippery floors. My husband fell and hit his head. We mentioned this to the rangers; hopefully they will do something.

Was great as always, kids loved it. We got to see starfish in the shallows and wildlife on the trails. Can't wait to go back!

Sites are spread out, staff patrol often, wash houses are regularly cleaned. [Except for the guy who trimmed his beard in a sink on April 15th in section C. The man is a pig and his mother was not there to clean up after him. Felt sorry for the clean-up guy.] I appreciate the road closure notices. We will come back when it is 20 degrees warmer!

Campground was kept neat. Bathrooms were clean and cleaned daily. Showers were great. The Fort and Blue Angels practice days topped it off. Beaches were wonderful and beautiful. We will be back.

We stay here 4 or 5 times a year. Our favorite campground. However the shower facilities near E10 are looking rough. Broken fixtures and dirty. Still we will keep coming back as you can't beat the beaches and the biking.

The check-in process was simple and well organized. Our reserved campsite did not work as the electrical was too far away. The people working at the campground were quick to give us a new spot which worked perfectly. The sunset was amazing and the nature hikes were well worth taking. We will definitely come back to Ft. Pickens.

I have visited several time and I always see something new. Glad to see the renovations to the main fort. The batteries are impressive, FL is lucky to have the history. The walking paths are great to walk and happy I can walk my dog around this NP.

We love Fort Pickens. Great access to the beach and the bay. Many trails to explore and hours can be spent exploring the fort and batteries. Biking and kayaking opportunities abound.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds, not because of the campground which is pretty basic and needs some TLC upgrading, but because of its location which offers the best beaches, many hiking trails, and lots of historical artifacts to explore.

This was my second visit to Fort Pickens campground and while I would recommend this campground, there are some things that one needs to be aware. While there was plenty of space between the campsites, the campsites themselves are very narrow and not very wide. Add this to the narrow road and it is difficult (although not impossible) to back into your spot. There is no place to park your car by your camper although some people part sideways. There are some places to park but not close to your camper. The time we were there, the grass needed mowing very badly and we did not see or hear a lawnmower the entire week we were there. Would also add that it is a great place to stay and we will probably come back again. After all it is close to the beach!

Entrance workers rude, price has become high but everything closed (store, programs, tours, no full hookups like state park for same price)
