Such a great spot to camp. Easy to reserve and the Camp Hosts are such a sweet and friendly couple. So many things to explore, the beach, walking trails or just sit and relax at your campsite. The bathrooms in my block were under renovations but other facilities were convenient to get to.

There is no trashcan in bathroom. The condition in shower room needs some upgrade. There are mold.

Fort Pickens had beautiful, level lots. We had a fire ring and picnic table. Bathrooms were relatively close and clean. It is located inside the national park. We never had such a relaxing camp trip. Lots to do yet nothing to do. We had some rain but it didn't keep us from going anywhere or doing anything. I imagine Spring and Fall are amazing.

We loved our stay. Especially how quiet the site was, the help of the rangers and seeing the Blue Angels practicing in the area.

Showers were missing all hardware except shower heads, including shower curtains, no place to hang clothes or towels. The shower faucet on the shower I used fell off. Tried 3 showers all the same, the forth luckily had a seat. Bathroom in this bathhouse was OK. Bathroom in another location had an oval toilet with a round toilet seat with one mounting bracket broke. Facilities were clean, but in very poor condition.Park is in a nice location, but it bathhouses should be better maintained.

Fort Pickens Campground is awesome dunes beaches breezes spacious sites mostly.its a long slow drive out but well worth it. Just put on your patience pants. The trail to the beach is a little challenging but there's plenty of beach line to enjoy. We had 2 bath houses in our loop E one older and one new.

Beautiful setting, nice roomy campsites and decent showers. Power outage rendered the bathrooms unusable so we were almost 24 hours without the facilities. Im sure it was a rare event so not really an issue, just bad luck for timing

Everything was perfect. Rangers were great amend weather amazing. Camping sites were neat and tidy.

Recent changes of RV site size restrictions did not create any problems for us. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Campground is pretty spartan and many sites are in the wide open with little privacy from plants or trees. The electrical connection on my site is >25' from the my (Class B) plug which necessitated an extension cord (12ga in my case and a drop to 15 amp circuit) The park is absolutely beautiful and the fort worth spending an afternoon to visit and tour.

Fort Pickens has the most beautiful preserved beaches in the Gulf. The bathhouse is kept very clean. Make sure you take one day to go check out the Fort it has so much to see even the kids love going through all the tunnels. Don’t forget to stop by the battery’s for an awesome view of the bay. The Fort also has a fishing pier.

Excellent experience, clean, and safe.
Quiet and it's great they close the park entrance after dark. Very friendly community of campers steps away from the beach. Lot's of trails for biking and walking. The old fort buildings were interesting to explore.
There aren't any sewer connections, so having a "honey wagon" to empty your grey water tank into the dump station is a must if you want to use your own shower & sink.
We had a good cell signal. We had around 30 TV stations from our RV antenna.
