Everything was good. Could improve bathhouse & restrooms. Campground employees were not engaging. Did their job but were not very welcoming. Visited the Fort and employees and volunteers there were very friendly and welcoming.

An amazing potential destination camping spot but it falls way short on the actual experience. The shower house and bathrooms are really gross. In need of serious attention. Paint peeling, rust and hair everywhere. The showers need serious upgrades. Theyre gross. I definitely wouldnt bring a first date to this park.

I hope my 5 star rating came through. The website does not give feedback if selected, I've tried 2 browsers, but will proceed assuming it did. We love camping at Fort Pickens. My friends and I have been taking our kids to camp there every December for the last 5 years and it NEVER disappoints. So much fun for the kids, they can play on the beach, explore the fort and batteries, fish, hike, bike ride, etc.. The campgrounds and heated bathrooms are always clean. The other campers are always super friendly. We love it here. I just hope posting this doesn't make it harder for us to get reservations in the future!

My family always loves staying at Fort Pickens! It is uncrowded and absolutely beautiful. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I wish the showers were more than a trickle but the water is hot and it is a campground so all is good! There were a couple of days where there was no soap in the bathroom. Overall the trip and campground was amazing just as it always is! And you can't beat the price!!!

love the campground. third visit and looking forward to my fourth next year. will have to make plans for possible closing of campgrounds due to weather next time

The fort was really neat to explore. The beaches where not crowded at all and we’re beautiful white sand. The campsites were really close together and it was quite a hike to the beaches from camp but just a short drive. Make sure u have what u need before u go because it’s at least 20 mins + to get out to a store.
