Overall the experience was positive. Easy spots to pull into, beautiful walks to the beach over all a great time. The fort was interesting and need to see. I will say the showers need some work. Very poor.

Will definitely be back ! Nice, helpful staff. Site was nice , needed mowing before we moved in grass got on our dog and its . Other than that wonderful history that we just kept finding new things to explore . bike riding was awesome . love this place .

A great place to go to the white sandy beaches along the gulf. Easy access to several beaches within the park. A must is to explore Fort Pickens and all the other outposts and batteries. We really enjoyed our stay.

The campground is beautiful. Bay on one side and Gulf on the other. Camp sites are clean. Be sure to know your vehicle length when reserving your lot. Also, be aware that most lots do not have sewage hook ups.

Arrived late, easily found our site & woke in the a.m. to the coolest thing ever - Blue Angels flying over multiple times! Two Osprey in the tree directly behind our site, eating breakfast in the tree! Beautiful area, will definitely schedule to return to the campground!

Fort Pickens is a favorite destination for us (we are RV'ers). The simplicity and peacefulness of the park is what we really enjoy...along with exploring the Fort and watching the Blue Angles practice their routines! The beauty of the miles of white sand beaches really adds to the peace! This is a place for both the Young and the more "Mature" to enjoy!

The beaches are beautiful and we got to watch the Blue Angels fly, that was something to remember. My niece had a beautiful wedding on the beach as well.

Overall experience was fantastic. Park was kept up nice. Bathrooms clean, dumpsters maintained, dump stations ok . Access to beautiful beaches, history of the fort , Blue Angels fly over all amazing. One thing I would like to recommend is some kind of brief instructions on what we should do in the event of tornadoes and severe storms. Easter night we were woke by an alert on our phone to take cover due to tornado warning, straight line winds , large hail. They named off areas that were affected but being from Michigan we had no idea the areas they were referring to. What area is the campground referred to by local news and weather ? Are there sirens that sound ? Will campground host instruct campers on where to shelter? The rest rooms would not be large enough for everyone. All things we find out in any areas we camp in the future. We will definitely stay at Fort Pickens again

Nice campground, short walk from the Gulf or Bay side beach. Too chilly for swimming in January but great walking, watching shorebirds and enjoying the sound of the sea. Facilities were fine and very clean. Don’t miss the Discovery Center - lots of history, geology and information about the flora and fauna of this special place. Be prepared that internet access will vary with the weather even when you have good cell bars.

It was a very nice campground. Only bad thing about it it was really muddy and the grass was really tall. I guess maintenance haven’t had time to cut the grass and stuff before we got there but it’s OK it was OK only other thing just wish it had a sewer hook up and decide but don’t ever plays have it but other Nat we had an awesome time.

If you have a bigger rig very difficult to get through the narrow roads. Sites are very close together (reach out and touch your neighbors). Bathrooms have mold growing in them. A health hazard!! The roads need a lot of work on them. It’s a shame that this National Park has run down so much. We will not be back to this park again.

The most beautiful camping area we've stayed at so far. The drive in and out along the white sand beaches was always a highlight of the day, along with the incredible sunsets. Campground and facilities were clean and well maintained.
