The fort is unbelievable, we spent two days exploring it. There is easy access to the beaches, theyre clean and not crowded.

Campsites reasonably spaced and a number with shade or bushes for privacy. Bath houses ok water always hot. Nice trails to Ft. Pickens and to Langdon beach which has restrooms. We were lucky enough to be there a Blue Angels practice days, great spectacle from Ft. Pickens. Go early if driving because the road closes when available parking is full. Walking there is easy, about a mile. Likely we will book again for 2025.

The park was excellent. The trails were outstanding. Access to the beach is unparalleled.The bathhouses were inadequate and shameful. For the number of campsites with little sewage at the sites the number tent campers the of toilets / bathhouses is inadequate. There are very few hooks in the showers and no shelves. Curtain rods were missing or the curtains were disgusting. Tiles were coming away from the wall. The floors need to be repainted. Its apparent that the custodial staff spreads dirty water around when they mop the floors in the commode area as the first 4 inches of the walls are quite dirty. If I camped there more than once a year, I would do the work myself.

We didn't have many days, but one of the highlights was the self guided tour of Fort Pickens.

Site E033 is level and has plenty of space around it. Always enjoy the nice hikes with educational signs identifying the foliage and different elevations, as well as the fort and ruins throughout the park. Restrooms are adequate and relatively clean. Only one of the two laundry facilities was available to Loop E and there were only two washers and two dryers, which meant some back up of users. But the laundry uses a pay app which means you don't have to carry a heavy bag of quarters, although it does take quarters if you wish. This is one of our favorite parks and we will return often.

Campground was clean, check in was easy. Bathrooms clean and well stocked, but the showers were in need of attention ( new curtains, shelves/hooks, deep cleaning)

We went end of July to 1st week of Aug. it was hot - went thru a bag of ice a day!! Stayed at site Loop E033 with 23 ft NOBO camp trailer. Loved it all! Just steps away from the water however the mosquitoes at the campsite were terrible in the evenings! We did get to see the Blue Angels practice flight which was really cool. Only had one day of rain. Ate at Peg Leg Petes and the food was great! Wonderful memories made with my family

Amazing. Quiet beaches, solid and nicely spaced camping facilities. Regular air shows by jets , dolphin viewing , excellent location, very cool historical place.. all bonuses... We will be back for sure.

We had a good visit there. Had to book several months in advance as the campground is packed, almost all of the time. They have a rule that if a person arrives before 2:00 pm, they have to stage in an area, away from the campground until 2:00 pm (for the park personnel to clean sites and mowers to mow; but didn't see a mower the whole time we were there) and then move to their site. Some of the campground hosts seem overbearing while enforcing the rules that the campground has set up. Cell phone service was good, and road to and from town was good, except for a few spots, which was very rough, but due to the 25 mph speed limit, they were no concern.
