The historical part of Fort Pickens was great. Hope to come back another time to see more. The restrooms were good but the showers left a lot to be desired. No curtains in shower and no hooks to hang anything up and no bench.

We stayed the last week of May in sites E19 & 21. Our kids stayed in a pop up and we stayed in our 42 foot fifth wheel. We fit in our site using hang over space and parked in over flow parking by the beach trail. Had a great time! No issues with camp host or park rangers. Shower houses are not great but we love the location. We have been camping each year for about 10 years.

Booked a site with a tree (according to the photos on the website) but No shade, no tree anywhere near our site. Other than that, campground was fine

Beautiful place course Im a little partial. Ive been going to Florida there. Well not to that campsite but staying at hotels there since the early 60s has a child and now that Im retired and have a travel trailer been staying there last year while travel trailer was just to go to the park, only thing I wish they give me more than 14 days during the season. Is that spectacular

Our family enjoyed our 6 night stay at Fort Pickens. The bathroom facility was kept up nicely and when the dishwashing sink got stopped up, it was fixed quickly. Our neighbors were friendly and the kids enjoyed getting to ride bikes around the campground. The site was a good size and we were able to set up all the things we brought with ease. One power box (we had two sites) kept tripping when we would try to run a coffee pot, but besides that, we had no issues! Will be coming back again next Spring break for sure!

The beaches on both sides were beautiful, the Florida Trail from the campground to the fort was just the right length for a walk, and the fort itself was so interesting! The woman who runs the gift shop at the fort was on top of everything. The campground was clean and spacious. More laundry facilities would have been nice, and also a quarter machine to trade in bills for quarters for the washers and dryers.

Bathroom showers need updated with hooks, clean curtains, a better place to set items, soap holders in the showers.

Very nice, clean and quiet park. Also has fishing close by.

This was one of the best weeks we have ever had camping. It was beyond beautiful, peaceful and relaxing, and with the Blue Angels practicing right over head several days it was exciting too! If you love the beach we Highly recommend!
Used to be our favorite spot as we traveled the panhandle. New changes which are unnecessary means this will be our last time if they start measuring RVs. We have never had a problem with our height or our length. Looks like the NPS had decided to discriminate against big rigs. Totally sucks

This was a great camping spot. The sites are close to the water, have bike/hike paths and away from the tourist spots. We rode our ebikes to Pensacola and felt safe as the speed limit is low. The beaches were beautiful.

Clean bathrooms, well kept park, beautiful beaches & easy access to them.
Ft. Pickens is an awesome campground. We love the crystal clear water and pristine, white sandy beaches. The area is quiet and relaxing. The only drawbacks are no sewage lack of parking. We love watching the Blue Angels practice from the beach and going to the lighthouse. Exploring the fort is also a favorite.

Wonderful! There was something for us all! Fishing, swimming and exploring the historic sites!
Bathrooms were clean and well functioning. We liked the individual shower rooms. The best part was the Dishwashing station with the hot water! We were tent camping so this was really nice.
We noticed the tent camping sites were almost empty compared to the RV/other sites. It would be nice if the tent camping spots had at least water and 110 V hookup. The park would probably get a big revenue increase from these sites. Also these sites are better suited for tents.
There are 2 laundry facilities, dish washing station, clean bathroom and showers. The campground is very dark at night and it is difficult to see obstacles so always carry a flashlight. I had an unexpected fall because the light from the bath house shadowed a fire pit ring. The beaches were absolutely beautiful and we were the only ones on the beach.

This was a great area to have some beach to yourself. Not overcrowded at all at any of the beach areas we went.
