the grass around the campground was well maintained but the bathrooms not so much and one was so hot i think the heater was on but it did not need it

Definitely recommend one of the tours at Ft. Pickens. Our park ranger Christian Webb was very knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable despite the heat!! Loved the bike trail and Langdon beach as well.

Such a peaceful and beautiful seashore. The campground was well maintained with clean bathrooms. Our site was small but we were there to spend time on the beach and exploring the fort.

Love the area but the campsite needed some work. The fire pit/grill was not useable. It was rotted, rusted, and falling apart. The camp host brought us two bricks to prop up the ring but my husband did all the work to make it useable. The park Ranger was no help. We arrived in late Feb & were provided the gate code for February. We went to dinner after a few days ( now in the month of March) but upon arrival back at the park the February code did not work. No Ranger around & no emergency # to call to get it. We had to wait until another car arrived with the new code so we could get in. Extremely frustrating!

Very nice campground, workers need to do a little better job of cleaning up sites after guest departure. some trash is being left behind. Overall very nice.

Nice Beaches! Blue Angels Air Show Practice. Well kept campgrounds. Walking distance to beaches.

Fort Pickens is a great location to visit the beach. Its not crowded and the water is beautiful. There are trails to ride your bike or walk. Its easy to get to the golf side or the Bayside. The campground is clean and has new restrooms. It is very well-maintained.

After five days of camping Fort Pickins was closed because of high water threatening to cut it off. We evacuated and not knowing when it would reopen left the area with 5 more days on our reservation. I had to wait until the reservation ended to call for a refund but not only the 5days remaining the ranger refunded the first five days as well. Along with a great park they have great personnel.

1. Location is awesome. 2. Trails are good. 3. Updates to the older bathhouses are needed4. New fire rings are desperately needed. 5. Trees, trees, trees.

First trip to a national park. Very enjoyable though brief stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The campground was nice, but we got a warning for parking on the grass a little bit when everyone else was, too. To me that's not fair. I completely understand not parking on the grass when it's wet, but don't single us out when everyone else was doing it too. The people parked next to us were very rude.
