I love this park. The campground was clean and it was easy to check in! I will be back as often as possible!

Love the smaller length campsites that give small rigs like mine a chance to use this park

Immaculate campground and Park. Compared to the gateway national park and the old fort up here in New Jersey. It looks like the hurricane was here and not down there. Great job, cant wait to come back!

Beautiful area. The campground is isolated as it is quite a drive to any stores or restaurants but its nice to be away from the crowds.

Great location to walk across the road to get to the beach area. Camping spots were good. Campground was very quiet. Bathrooms were a little dated.

Beautiful and clean campground. Some sites are a bit stacked on top of another but incredible location and value.

This was our first time here and absolutely loved it. Stayed 8 nights and hope to stay 2 weeks the next time. Sand, beautifully white, beaches, simply gorgeous, shelling, fantastic. Joe Patties seafood, the freshest. Need I say more, one of our BEST camping trips ever!!

Raw beauty - this is what Florida was like before development. Awesome area with epic beaches. Well managed and clean campgrounds and facilities. We will be back!!!

Bathrooms in loop A were not well maintained.

If you want to go to sugar white Gulf beaches, this is the place. The campground is rather large and sites are closer together than many other public campgrounds, but you cannot beat the distance to the beach. Paved sites, some sunny, others covered by hurricane battered and flattened live oaks. Sites often with a chunky drop off on the living side from the asphalt to the ground. Cannot understand why the NPS cannot achieve level limestone gravel with the plain of the asphalt. Great ankle twister and lots of potential for falling. Lots of trails (including the westernmost beginning of the Florida National Scenic Trail). Can hike or bicycle. Birdwatching can be excellent in October and March/April. A loop is more woodsy. B-E loops are more open. You need to be careful about the length of your site when you reserve. There is little fudge room in terms of RV length. There are low branches in the A loop, too. Big rigs and fivers do it, but if you reserve the wrong site... Very difficult to get reservations, always packed year-round. Caution: The road to the camping areas is near sea level among sand dunes. If a tropical storm, hurricane, or winter storm goes by and kicks up the Gulf, the water will cross the roadway, cover it with sand, and it can be days (has been months after hurricanes) before the roads are plowed and campgrounds reopen. Your long reserved and planned vacation could be ruined by these events. A $1 bridge toll is charged to get on the beach. You can do tag and bill, or purchase a Florida SunPass for your vehicle to avoid the $2.50 admin fee on top of the tolls. There is a $25 fee to enter the park for 7 days in addition to camping fees unless you are using interagency cards. There are also strict limits on annual stays. Hitch inserts have been stolen before, so lock your valuables. There are water moccasins in the wetlands, so stay on the trails. And, yes, Fort Pickens and the nature center are great.

Excellent location, walking distance to beach. Beach is remote and uncrowded. Trails were fun - we biked them and walked a short loop. Saw several birds. An osprey would perch near our campsite every evening. Camp host was friendly. Didn’t use bathhouse this time but they are individual private rooms that appear clean. Returning next year.

We absolutely love camping at Fort Pickens! Beautiful beaches, great fort to export, quiet campground and loved that washers and dryers have been added again. Definitely will be back!

Nice quiet place to relax. Near by trails are a great way to explore the area. Great place to ride bicycles, as well. Short walk to the beach to watch beautiful sunsets.
