The campground was very loud over spring break. A Boy Scout troop spoke at loud volumes often arguing loudly and tooting on recorders night and day. I saw an adult with them their last day when they packed up to load into a van. I believe the adults were staying at another site. It was a miserable experience being in the campground this visit. I could hear the troop over my headphones at a maximal volume while I was at my site.

Nice park in a great location. Tent area is pretty packed in. But, enjoyed our time there. Very friendly staff!

Nice campground with adequate bathrooms, live oaks provide plenty of shade from Florida sun for campers who score those sites. $26 a night to stay at the most beautiful beach on the planet! Not a bad deal. Lovely walk to the beach on the boardwalk over undisturbed dunes. Fun to go check out the old Civil war fort and walk on hiking trails. On our last trip we saw a manatee, several pods of dolphins and a bald eagle.

Beautiful beaches. The fort was interesting to explore. Campground and facilities were clean.

Nice park! The most beautiful and cleanest beaches I’ve ever seen. My only complaint is that it’s not all that big rig friendly. If you accidentally find yourself on loop D in the campground your gonna be cussing’!

We had a reservation to arrive on Monday and leave next Monday. We had arrived and set up and were enjoying our stay in between rain showers. Water was over Fort Pickens road, but we could get through it. Then campground was closed amid confusion and mixed messages, but we were told we could stay and did not need to do anything. Then I got reservation canceled email and refund. Checking online the site WE WERE OCCUPYING still showed reserved but BY WHO. So I go down to check in station and find that someone else had made reservation for our campsite. Park employee fixed it back so we did not have to move, but much needless confusion.

The campground is Nice. We stayed in loop D site 13. Our site was adequite and level. The bathrooms/showers are clean. Easy access to gulf beach (about a 10 minute walk). We will stay here again.
