We just love Fort Pickens Campground. It is so private yet so much to do. We were able to get a last minute cancellation and stayed in the A loop which we loved. We usually stay in, C loop which is great but we found A to be so much quieter and less busy. I guess were getting old. It is so close to the beach or the sound. Easy bike ride to the Fort. We stay here every spring and fall for almost 6 years. We will be back.

TREE LIMBS IN ROADWAY. The ROADWAY needs to have limbs trimmed to allow ALL campers access. ROADWAY needs to be 14 feet clearance, not all campsites, just ROADWAY. All class A and fifthwheels are over 12 feet and mine is 13. The tree in front of the bathhouse in loop "A" has been trimmed which proves IT CAN BE DONE. I have witnessed many campers being destroyed because of these low limbs. What will it take to clear the ROADWAY to allow access for ALL campers? Also showers in loop "A" needs major repairs. Enjoyed our stay just needs some maintenance issues addressed.

We have been going to Ft. Pickens Florida since before Hurricane Ivan. We love it there. And especially now since I have had cancer and treatments and there you can get away from People. Especially now with covid. We love the beach and the campgound A is awesome.

We had a great time during our Ft. Pickens stay. I wish the sites had at least grey water connections at the campsite. Staying for 9 days without connections is very inconvenient. We can’t even use the sinks in our campers knowing that it will fill our grey water tanks up. Also, we had an experience with a snake at our campsite. Thank goodness it was non-poisonous but we were told that even poisonous snakes are protected. I can assure you if there is a poisonous snake at our campsite or near our children, it will be eliminated.
