this campground exceeded our expectations. We will be back year after year

Was clean, whoever designed the campground should have their head examined. Do not go here thinking it's a beach campground... you cannot see nor hear the beach from the campground, you will have to drive or walk a mile to the beach. Unless you're lucky you will not have room to park a vehicles near your campsite. And on top of all that, the most unfriendly people I have ever encountered in a campground.

Great place will definitely visit again, But would be nicer if the spaces were a little larger, there is plenty of room to extend and widen each spot.

We have been camping at Fort Pickens for years and we obviously love it however this time we felt that the showers could use more cleaning and maybe an up grade to the faucets.

I went in the winter and it was frigid. The campground and amenities were great. The restroom was heated. The streets were cleared of sand. The beach was beautiful. The trails were well maintained, marked and accessible. Some of the sites had standing water on rain days but mine was fine.

More cover is needed. Why not plant some trees and bushes. Felt like I was in a parking lot.

We enjoyed getting away from the main tourist area of Pensacola and exploring the fort.

Booked for three stays and was evacuated twice. Not a reliable place to camp. Had to scramble for other accommodations and was left hanging as to what to do or how it worked. Restroom soap ran out for several days. Not maintained properly.

Easy to make reservations on line. The park staff was very helpful. The site were easy to get into and the National Park was beautiful, clean and not crowded with plenty of beach and ocean all to ourselves.

Some sites are tight to get into. Got to make sure you pick the right site. Overall a great experience.

Our spot was spacious, beach is phenomenal, and camp hosts and check in personnel were very friendly. Well keep coming back.

Pretty good facilities, showers, etc for as crowded as this park is. Great location, beach and the Fort is fun to visit. Blue Angel practices are awesome if you are staying there when they are in and practicing. Joe Patti's seafood market is not to be missed.

Fort Pickens is our all time favorite campground, due to the many activities surrounding the campground. From the Fort, to the pier, the Blue Angels (we sat on the beach and watched them three times this trip), to the bike trail from the campground to the Fort, Langdon beach, I could go on and on. Even though we had gotten total rain four out of the ten days of our trip, we loved every minute of our stay.
