We come to stay at Ft Pickens almost every year. The beach is always beautiful. This year it rained most every day but would clear up by evening . The kids were able to safely ride their bikes around the whole campground

Very hard to get reservations up to limit but that due to popularity and a terrific bargain for such beauty. Maybe add another loop or two

Beautiful white sand beaches. Nice walking trails to and around fort Pickens. Watching eagles with their babies was the best. The Camp ground was clean. Not sure about the bath houses as we didnt use them. We did use the laundry facility. Washer and dryers are good size, clean, and reasonably priced. Would recommend visiting.

We had a wonderful weekend at Ft Pickens Campground. We found it clean, quiet and very comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Wow, beautiful place. The camp hosts were great, and the park had all the services for a good vacation. However, there was no space between campsites. That made it feel like five big group sites. Even though it was cramped, I might go again.

We had a great trip to Fort Pickens. The campground seems like it needs a bit of TLC. The site we had was good but there were other sites that are not good at all. No shade, no space, etc when we were there, they were absolute sticklers about parking our jeep in line with the site. They were nice about notifying us, but our jeep fit sideways, not in the grass, but other massive trucks were so close to being in the road it was a hazard. We got over it, no big deal. They didnt seem to give much attention to anything else going on like dogs barking ALL day, or people walking through campsites, etc. All that being said, we would stay here again, but it does need a refresh and also a refocus on what is important to enforce in our opinion. Dont hesitate to book here, just be aware.

A great family campground. Been coming since Ft. Pickens was a state park. Happy to see them cracking down on big rigs that would snap off or cut tree branches to fit. Now to cut down on light pollution (it was better with big rigs and their lights and outdoor televisions!

Nice campground. Friendly staff. Clean shower house. Great hiking. Beautiful views bayside and gulf. Interesting history at the fort and battery positions. Lots of military aircraft flying over from airforce base across the bay.We loved it!

Surroundings are wonderful. Would love to see the camp store opened. Lack of ice was a problem. Upgraded shower heads would be a benefit.

I really enjoy the biking the trail to the fort. We have been camping here for more than 40 years. Watching the Blue Angles is always a treat. I do think the contractors who take care of the facilities could be doing a better job though.

We loved Fort Pickens. It is a beautiful park. Touring the Fort was interesting and we utilized the trails and the beach every day. Wei be back. Thank you

Love this beach park. Pensacola Beach is an easy ebike ride away for good eats. The rangers and volunteers were very nice. The sites are level. The bath house clean.

Small sites. Very crowded. No air circulation in restrooms and showers. Grass grown high - needs mowing. The good is location close to beaches and historic fort. Great trails and bike paths in area. All paved.
