Very nice campground. The park was nice to see some great history.

Beautiful and well maintained campground. The campground is situated between the gulf and the bay, which are both within short walking distance. The history of the fort and batteries (armament buildings) were very interesting. The bathrooms and showers could use some updating, but were clean. The only downside to the campground is the time it takes to get back to civilization, as it is miles down the road at 25 mph. We would definitely stay here again.

We relax and unwind here like no where else. If you are looking for a resort or activity-laden camping experience, don't come here. This place is about being in a quiet, natural environment.

Everything was great. (except the backwards dump station. But I assume that was being done to improve it.) Really good location to see the Blue Angels practice. Thanks

Crowded is not my complaint: everywhere is crowded now. But, there are a few people that do not know how to behave in a crowded campground and ruin the experience for many. Loud noise/voices, music and bright lights until midnight and up an at it again before the sun was up. Very unpleasant 2nd night there. Rule enforcers abound during the daylight hours, but are no where to be found after dark.

This is a great location for family camping, with a beautiful uncrowded beach and good family activities within an hour from the park. Would definitely recommend!

Favorite camping spot for seniors! The beaches are awesome. Fort Pickens is affordable for us to enjoy a resort atmosphere! Watching the Blue's practice is a special treat.

For me it was the easy walking, friendly people and the relaxing affect the campground provides me.

This is not a fancy park. You will enjoy the experience of the trails and wildlife. I would love to see a designated dog area though. Seems unfair they can't enjoy a section. The dog park is off island and requires a long drive

Awesome place!

Nice campgrounds. But some sites, C36 and surrounding, are low and flood during heavy rainfall. Grounds are very soft and soggy.
However overall, the restrooms are clean, park is clean, hosts are nice.

Great campground spots are mostly level and water and electric are safe. Loved riding my bike all over the place. Several places to pull-off your care to see the pristine Gulf with that wonderfully soft powdery-soft sand. I was in C loop, it was very quiet, close trash dumpsters and small laundry that took quarters. It was a nice stay. The grounds were well maintained and no low branches. The campground is not too far from Pensacola Beach for necessities or just great seafood. My only complaint is that the park is just sooo far from the mainland (Pensacola Beach). At the posted speed limit it can take 15 minutes just to get out of the park. I would stay here again.
