What a great place by the ocean. Camp hosts very pleasant. Bathrooms for the most part clean. Our site was out in the open not among trees as some of the others. Overall great experience.

While there for the two weeks we were treated great by staff and especially the campground host in Loop A. We did get evacuated for one night due to expectation of high seas. I know a lot of people were upset but I understand the park has to look out for everyone’s safety. I will definitely be back.

Great location for beach goers. Blue Angels practices during the week are always a sight to see.

Beautiful beaches on both sides of campground and you can walk forever. Convenient to restaurants. Very unique slice of paradise for such a busy area. Lots of retirees.

According to my girlfriend, it was an awesome trip. Even though we didn't spend much time in the park. We got to see the blue angels homecoming air show on Friday and we traveled to Alabama to watch my college West Florida play football on Saturday. This was her very first time camping in a tent. She got the experience to have a breakfast by the fire. The only complaint was the coldness on Friday night. We can't control the weather. However she will do tent camping again, just in our neck of the woods in South Florida.

Fort Pickens and the Gulf Islands are a wonderful, out of the way, place to camp, swim, watch birds and animals, and see history.

Lovely campground... amazing beaches! Nice upkeep on historic fort. My experience was sooo nice. Campground bathrooms, nice and clean. I did have concerns about the camp hosts... RV, two tents plus another tent with a hot tub, left blankets and sleeping bags on the ground all weekend and always had off duty sign up. That was weird and unattractive.
