Campsites were well maintained. New fire rings and picnic tables. Showers could use upgraded shower heads. But all and all a great experience.

The campsite is clean and well marked. The sites are very close together, so no privacy at all. We were near the restrooms and the slow close arms on all of the bathroom doors are broken. They unfortunately slammed all night long and we couldnt sleep. We left at 7:30 because we were done seems like that would be an easy fix and make a world of difference.

Me and my family we love this campground, it's very quiet and peaceful. Near to the beach, like 4 - 6 minutes walking from any spot. Hot water and clean restrooms. 16 minutes away from Pensacola Beach .

The fort is impressive, trails are great, snow white sand beaches, beautiful sunsets, plenty to see and do in Pensacola. We had a great time. Not a single complaint.

I have visited Fort Pickens several times before, but never camped out and I enjoyed it! It is my favorite area to visit when I'm ready to visit the beach.

Had a wonderful time. The beaches are beautiful and the ruins are fun to visit. Only drawback was the bridge is shut down and puts about an hour extra into the drive...

I absolutely loved my time at Fort Pickens Campground in Gulf Islands National Seashore. My only regret is not staying longer. We used it as a stopping point on our way back home from Florida and I had no idea the gem I was uncovering. White sand beaches, creepy old forts, decent camp sites, what more could I ask for. I do wish they had had more going on, but covid, I get it. And a couple of snorkel spots were recommended to me in the park but there was no parking or access anywhere near where was recommended so I was really confused about that. Other than that, I loved it and I'll definitely be back. Thank you for such a beautiful unspoiled space amongst an otherwise kitschy tourist area.

The beaches are so secluded and beautiful!! The campground is clean and the bathrooms are great. Everyone is so friendly. You have got to go to the far end of the island, beyond the fort, climb over this small wall, and walk down to the beach right there. It is the most beautiful part of the island and there is never anyone there! All the animal habitat zones are roped off too, so no worries about accidently disturbing nature! The coolest place ever.

Very scenic drive with oceanview on the left when entering the park. Kinda confused by the loop when entering at night. Florida Trail was very well kept nice peaceful walk to the old fort. Facilities were very c lean and well lit. Overall an amazing experience.
