This park is beautiful and meticulously maintained. Lots of scenery and walking

We absolutely love this park. The ablutions in the main campground need some work but other than that we love the park.

A storm came through and the next day the made us leave. There wasn't any electricity and there was standing water but our site was high enough that we were fine. They could have locked the bathrooms/showers but allowed us to stay if we wanted to. Our camper was self
contained so we would have been fine. They did not help or give any recommendations as to where we could go. As we were from Wisconsin and not familiar with the area. The staff was rude and not helpful.

We had to vacate early because of rising tidal flooding on the island.

The Rangers at the Visitor Center are the great. They try their best to accommodate visitors and answer all questions. The campsite itself was clean. I was disappointed that the Book Store in the Fort itself was closed on the Friday I visited. A must see at Fort Pickens is the sunset over the Gulf, and the most spectacular white sand beaches. I wish there was a dog beach within the National Seashore. It was somewhat inconvenient to unhook our RV and drive outside the parks boundaries so our pup could experience the beautiful surf. Also, it's an easy bike ride from the campgrounds to the Fort. I love this place.

Two recommendations: 1) take at least a 30-40 ft power cord and 2) you may want a portable black water dump tank.

I and my partner have now stayed here 4 times. It has always been a great stay. People are friendly. The staff is great.

Beautiful park with access to the fort, beach and bay areas. Campground itself was a bit close, not much privacy but again, access to the island itself was the prime attraction.

Make sure to take the nice trail to the fort.
