We came for the birding. We will be back for so much more. Beauty, history, nature, wildlife and seclusion highlighted our trip.

Great campsite with nice shaded sites and close proximity to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this campground.

The campsites are great, with plenty of space. The access to the beach is close by & the fort itself is great to explore.

Great site with shade. There IS NOT much of a sea breeze at this site due to it being surrounded by sand dunes and gets VERY HOT in the summer.

Fort Pickens is a very cool location, it's not far away from civilization but feels that way by being on the end of the island.

Fort Pickens has the best beach. Rangers, camp host are friendly and informative. The park was closing in preparation for Fred.

Fort Pickens was a beautiful site. Bathrooms were clean and the beach was breathtaking. Stayed at sites B6 and B4. Will be back again in September. Loved the fact that the Florida trail tan right through my site. Great hiking.

I have been camping at ft Pickens twice a year for almost 20 years It is one of my favorite campgrounds

We had a wonderful experience at Ft Pickens- the park is amazing, the beach, the forts, the weather. That being said, the campground is awful. The sites are packed together within inches of each other, the bathrooms are overwlemed with people and are filthy, there are people camped everywhere. It is the New York City of campgrounds, without the glam. Is it worth it to stay in such a gorgeous park? Yes, just plan to get the heck out of the campground because the rest of the park is next level beautiful.

Great park, clean and quiet. Only exception to quiet are the daily USAF fighter jets overhead.
