The site was nice & I've camped there before. The showers are in dire need of maintenance in most all of the loops. Shower curtains and rods are missing. Towel bars and stools are missing. Mold/mildew is bad as well. Ants are bad on every site I've camped at in 11 trips. The gift shop was not open and that's at least the third time I've caught it. I love the camping there, love the beach, the pier, the bay and the birds. I'll be back and just hope some repairs are forthcoming.

The Camp grounds is very clean and easy to navigate. This was our first time staying at Fort Pickens and was really impressed with everything the grounds had to offer. Check in was so easy and the spaces are very spacious. I would say the best place for tent camping is on the outside loops bc in the middle of the night you can hear the ocean. We will absolutely be back again soon!

The campground was very nice. There are only a few trees on the sites so minimal shade if you are tent camping. Access to the beach was easy. Bath house facilities are old but adequate. The grounds are beautiful with lots of wildlife to see!

Ft. Pickens is were it's at! My husband and I love camping and this spot is the best place we have been! You can literally walked to the beach and find tons of shells and see the clear water! You have the ocean side and bay side here. Ft. Pickens was also rly cool to explore! If we ever go back to Pensacola we WILL be camping here again!

Great campground! We only stayed one night but E22 had a little trail so we could see the bay side.
The experience was very poor. The bathrooms have no ventilation and feel like a sauna. The grass in our spot was overgrown. There are no trashcans. The camp hosts have nothing to do but haggle you over rediculous rules such as no hammocks. On top of the poor conditions you have to pay 25 dollars in addition to your camping reservations just to get your vehicle in the area.
Have camped in lots of places, but this was the worst. Won't be staying here again.
We love Fort Pickens. It is and has been our go to camping place.

Florida Trail starts at Fort Pickens and runs through the length of the park.

Weather was terrible.

Although it was pretty cold for tent camping we still had a great time. We stayed in E22 and it was a perfect location. Easy access to restrooms and easy access to the bay. The fort itself was fun to explore. We will be back in warmer weather! The benefit to the cold was that there were no bugs!

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
