Great spot, right across the street from the beach, clean bathrooms, warm showers and overall quiet campground. Loved biking through the Fort and into Pensacola Beach.

Beautiful campground with beautiful trails and a short walk to the beach. The beach is one of the best I have ever seen because it is natural with no condominiums or other structures. Mobile phone service worked great, but data service was slow and unstable. If you need a good internet connection consider Starlink. Facilities were superb. You will need to dump your tanks at the dump station near the bathrooms, but was really not a difficult experience. If you can get into the campground (it is popular) you will really enjoy it. Also, I attract mosquitos like a light attracts candle bugs but there were NO mosquitos while we were there that I noticed, even being outside at night in shorts.

The roads are narrow and tight, the bathrooms are hot and terrible, and the campground had no water the last day.

A good experience. The camp host was excellent. Some of the campground rules are not being enforced any longer. Our neighbors put up a privacy tarp and were showering outside on their site, people were driving all over the grassy area in order to park their rigs. We liked the new picnic tables and fire rings.

Always enjoy camping in campground A with all the trees and vegetation. Restrooms and showers could use some upgrades. Not thrilled with the lack of shade trees and other vegetation in campgrounds C and E. This area is more like an RV park with no/little privacy.

Fort Pickens is one of our favorite parks. Strolling the white sand beaches is so peaceful.

Nice no frills campground. Sites have water and electric. The Showers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities are nice. Be sure to check out Fort Pickens and the Blue Angel practices.

Our campground stay at Fort Pickens was for fourteen nights in Loop A. We were in close proximity to Pensacola Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. From hiking and bicycling to touring the fort, attending programs at the fort and walking the beach, there is so much to do. The campground is well maintained.

I like that fort Pickens is remote but still has beach access, electric & water hookup, restrooms & showers, and good walking area. Too bad it rained and stormed so much when we were there! I do want to go back though - maybe next summer.

Nice stay. Would have been better if I knew we could come back to loop A. With all the changes in the size of the campers, I just dont know. I will keep trying to get in loop A with the camper we have. Grass needed cutting while we where there for 2 weeks.

We stayed in site A018 for one night. It was a decent site and was close to the bathroom/shower house. We liked the proximity to the beach, a nice boardwalk across the street from the campground, but the issue we had was that for my husband, there was always a line to get into the showers/bathrooms. There was just one bathroom/shower house for all of the campsites in the A loop. That was the only real complaint, though. I didn't have to wait for the bathrooms, and didn't shower at the shower house, so I couldn't speak to whether there was a line for that for the women's side. One thing to note, if you want to stay in this campground, you need to purchase a National Park Pass, on top of your camping fee. That came as a surprise for us, but at least now we have it for a year and can come back again if we want. I would stay here again.

This was my 3rd time camping at Ft Pickens. We stayed in loop A for 3 nights. It was quiet & the restrooms were clean. I love this area and the fact that the campgrounds are away from the busy tourism in the city. Keep in mind that its a drive to go anywhere out of the park. I was driving to a destination in Narvarre everyday and it took about an hour due to the low speed limits. I feel it was worth the drive to camp in a safe place that is also beautiful! If possible, plan your stay on a day that the Blue Angels practice and youll have the best view from the fort!

I have camped at the Fort Picken a few times in the past and it always amaze me every time. This last time at the end of 2021 continued impressing me and I finally also had a chance to walk on a nature trail nearby the loop A , which provides enough sign and information along the trail and it really impressed me on the granular details. I will come back again for the camping then will spend more time for other trails to enjoy this breathtaking scenery and well maintained national shoreline.
