We had a great time. Cold but fun. FYI. E18 needs to have branches trimmed from tree at the top of rv height or put in description that has limitations.Thank you for wonderful park.

Beautiful beaches, and the park staff takes great care of the facilities. The fishing pier is very nice, and the boardwalks are very convenient for patrons. Unfortunately, the RV spots are too short and do not leave enough room to park your truck. The entire island has a fit if your truck tire touches a blade of grass or dirt. The camping spots should be extended in length, or a gravel or asphalt parking pad should be added adjacent to each camper spot to facilitate a better user experience for Patrons who pay to camp there.

Did not like one of the camp hosts. The others were nice but one was rude/borderline unprofessional.

Great campgroundSites really vary in length and height (overhanging branches) - so check details of site before booking and look at Google maps for spaciousness etc,Trails for walking or mtn biking - beaches on both north and side are good for walks or bird watching

We had a great time at the Fort Pickens campground! We stayed in a tent at a site with power. It was a great spot, close to the water and restrooms! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I love Fort Pickens, it is a quite place with plenty of walking, long beaches. We can relax and enjoy refreshing ourselves with sun, sea and sand. Some times we are there with some of our children and grandchildren, we are all salties and love the atmosphere at Ft. Pickens.

Very interesting to tour the fort. Be sure to catch the Blue Angels practice. Appreciated the very nice laundry facilities. Be sure to pay attention to site sizes so you're sure to fit. We were fine but others were having issues.

We really enjoyed the campground, it had nice sites with electric and water. We walked the beach everyday, and loved the area. The only drawback is there is no wifi but if you want to get away from it all this campground is for you! We will be back:)

I am new to the RV scene. Fort Pickens is the first National Park I have spent any time at. The crew, both park rangers and volunteers were very helpful. I learned a good deal from the volunteer hosts. The facilities were in very good considering they are in regular camper use. There are two different kinds of beaches to visit. There is the gulf side and the bay side, both in easy walking distance from camp sites. If you are a fisherman, you can fish in two different environments. Same for those who would like to swim. There is a bit of surf on the gulf side and the water is a few degrees cooler. The bay side is always calmer and the water warmer. There is a pier and other good places to fish at the main fortifications. The original Fort Pickens embattlement are well maintained and easily accessible. There is an indoor museum that well illustrates Fort Pickens history.

Campsites are clean and most have plenty of space, but not much shade. Campground bathrooms are clean but the showers are pretty gross. The park itself is incredible, clean, quiet, lots of beach to visit. The Fort is very cool to see.

Even in winter the beach is so beautiful. The facilities are also in excellent shape.

Don't forget to take a walk on the non-Atlantic side of the campground.

It was a very nice 4 days, the camp ground beautiful and well taken care of. Only (2) negatives were as follows:1. Using the Restroom one Morning a Park employee was extremely rude. He said the Restroom was closed for cleaning. There was no sign and I was already in there "sitting down " if you know what I mean. He then proceeded to accidentally hit my feet with the nasty mop under the stall2nd. Someone stole our Brand new Turkey Friar.
