The site had fire ants. The shower floors and walls were covered in mold. One shower had only hot, could not cool, could not use. Another just gave a small trickle of water. Never saw an attendant for the 4 days we were there. The maintenance person said he couldn't do anything about fire ants, even though I saw a park ranger spraying weeds with something very toxic as we drove by (had to close the windows). Bench on walking trail was falling down with exposed nails. The entire area looked in general disrepair.

Bathrooms were filthy, never cleaned when we were there. Sink was stopped up, floors and showers filthy. Liked being able to walk from campground to the Fort. Campsite was fine. Need to hire people to clean bathrooms regularly.

Great location and plenty to do in the area. Beautiful Beach and amazing clear water.

lovely, clean grounds. water source nearby but didn't see electrical - didn't need it but in case you might, bring chargers for electronics. generators are usable during the day but I would discourage that as much as practicable. I was in a tent for two nights for low impact. great walking/biking paths around the whole area

This is one of my favorite parks to visit. It is always clean, and the staff is always friendly. I am glad I live so close!

Location, location, location. Beach access, great safe biking, and wonderful climate. The sites for vans were a bit small but we fit with class b. Nice hot showers with shower heads.

We loved it! The only thing I would change is our campsite. There was absolutely no shade,It was awful.

More than we expected here.
Not much of a surprise but the loop was pretty full (it was when making the reservations). I did feel a bit "unprepared" , as our neighbors had more "toys". But we had all we needed. The campsite had the standard parking spot, and picnic table/fire pit. We didn't have a proper "tent pad", but we had plenty of space to choose from. Fortunately, we got to spend our stay here after the bridge was [partially] reopened. Traffic was a bit tight on the bridge because it was still under construction, but at least things were moving. Under full capacity, it likely would not be as slow.

The facility had clean, well stocked bathrooms with flush toilets, hot water and hand soap. There were shower facilities in the loops as well. Unlike some, these had both hot water, and pressure. Some just have a trickle, or no hot water available.

Our loop - D - was a 10 minute walk from the beach. We spent some quality time there after going to the boardwalk or Pensacola proper.

We got to spend a few nights at this location, and would gladly come back here.
