Very crowded but nice facilities. The newly remodeled bathroom offered good amenities. Walking distance to the beach.

The site had fire ants. The shower floors and walls were covered in mold. One shower had only hot, could not cool, could not use. Another just gave a small trickle of water. Never saw an attendant for the 4 days we were there. The maintenance person said he couldn't do anything about fire ants, even though I saw a park ranger spraying weeds with something very toxic as we drove by (had to close the windows). Bench on walking trail was falling down with exposed nails. The entire area looked in general disrepair.

Bathrooms were filthy, never cleaned when we were there. Sink was stopped up, floors and showers filthy. Liked being able to walk from campground to the Fort. Campsite was fine. Need to hire people to clean bathrooms regularly.

lovely, clean grounds. water source nearby but didn't see electrical - didn't need it but in case you might, bring chargers for electronics. generators are usable during the day but I would discourage that as much as practicable. I was in a tent for two nights for low impact. great walking/biking paths around the whole area

The camping spots were nicely spaced out to evenly enjoy security and serenity. Thank you for protecting the natural beauty of Fort Pickens and making it accessible at the same time. I will return.

Away from all the hustle and bustle of life, this beautiful spot was a perfect end to our trip around FL. The white sand beaches and solitude were greatly appreciated. Services at the park were more than adequate.

Campground is beautiful! Campground hosts were super courteous! Ranger that checked us inon March 3rd, around 12:30 was very rude. Started off our visit on a down note...but everything else was wonderful.

If you want endless white-sand beaches and a quiet spot that is only 15 minutes away from restaurants and touristic shopping, then this is your place.

Location, location, location. Beach access, great safe biking, and wonderful climate. The sites for vans were a bit small but we fit with class b. Nice hot showers with shower heads.

More than we expected here.
Not much of a surprise but the loop was pretty full (it was when making the reservations). I did feel a bit "unprepared" , as our neighbors had more "toys". But we had all we needed. The campsite had the standard parking spot, and picnic table/fire pit. We didn't have a proper "tent pad", but we had plenty of space to choose from. Fortunately, we got to spend our stay here after the bridge was [partially] reopened. Traffic was a bit tight on the bridge because it was still under construction, but at least things were moving. Under full capacity, it likely would not be as slow.

The facility had clean, well stocked bathrooms with flush toilets, hot water and hand soap. There were shower facilities in the loops as well. Unlike some, these had both hot water, and pressure. Some just have a trickle, or no hot water available.

Our loop - D - was a 10 minute walk from the beach. We spent some quality time there after going to the boardwalk or Pensacola proper.

We got to spend a few nights at this location, and would gladly come back here.

Had to leave the the campground early due to Hurricane Sally. Unfortunate, but otherwise a good campsite and a good trip.

Absolutely gorgeous area. Nice campground. The only issue we had was that someone else was parked at our campsite when we got there but we got it resolved pretty quickly. We will be back for sure!

Overall we had a good time at the park. The flies were terrible when we went even as far out as 100 yards from the beach. The camp site neighbor to us was allowed to play radio exceptionally loud. He would just lower the radio when he would see the campground host coming around. It was so bad that we just left because there is really no good way to handle that type of thing. Highly concentrated campgrounds shouldn't allow that because it ruins a campground experience. If a person wants to hear loud music in a public place they could easily put on headphones. Like I said we just left because they wouldn't have done anything to them and my experience with people like that is they don't care about anyone around them and probably would have intentionally made it worse if we complained. So if you want more loud radiophiles and loud campers just keep allowing that.
