The National Seashore area is beautiful! Campground at Fort Pickens is large with five different loops and spacing between sites are good. Two newer bathhouses. Unfortunately they were not cleaned during our five day stay. We contacted the volunteers who are back up for the workers. We travel with dogs. Be aware dogs arent allowed on the grounds of Fort Pickens or Florida beaches. There is a small dog park beach area but we found it too crowded for our dogs. Overall a good visit to this area.

Sites were nice, but showers and bathrooms in our loop were a big problem. Bring your own shower solution if you are camping here.

Campground is good but the real delight is the seashore and the fort itself

Great place to relax. Beaches with white sand and clear turquoise water are within walking distance. The campsite has a shower and toilet. At each point there is a table and a barbecue ring, water. Enough space for a car and a big tent. I fell in love with this place and will definitely be back.

The beaches are spectacular! If you plan to spend significant time on the beach, bring shade. Alternatively, there is one beach that has a covered picnic area (and bathrooms) that can provide shade. This is closest to loop A, but is within biking distance from the other loops. You could also drive there.

The campground is a perfect place to enjoy the sea and the beach. This is a wild life area quiet. Furthermore than it's a historical place to visit.
Nevertheless the common area missed some cleaning.
