Beautiful park. Nice restrooms and laundry. Some of the sites are tight to back into because of the trees, but the trees provide a nice shade.

We were evacuated due to weather (which we understood ) . The remainder of our reservation ( 12 days ) was completely out inadvertently ( along with everyone else's) .We didn't receive much help or sympathy. We were more fortunate than most. We were able to the book sites but had to move twice . It's disappointing that the park is not managed more professionally, particularly considering that evacuations occur at this park frequently.

Excellent Campground. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Even a laundry room! The spots are well spaced out, you are not too close to your neighbor. It was very quiet and peaceful even though every spot was booked. There are a few pretty nature trails and of course Fort Pickens itself is a great experience. Also many beautiful beaches to enjoy the day.

The best area to camp is Loop A. Sites are more shaded, further apart, and less crowded. Fort Pickens is very interesting and worth a visit. The shower facilities were old and most of the time not very clean.

I loved it here - quiet and peaceful. There was some air noise but I didn't mind. Walking to a beach that was beautiful and clean and not packed with people was a bonus. I really wish I could have stayed longer!

One of our favorite campgrounds, private or public. Great uncrowded beaches, easy bike ride into Pensacola Beach and nearby areas. Would be perfect if it had sewer hookups.
