I really liked tent camping here. The sites are level and very clean. You have a bit more space than you get at a private campground. The Loop D bathhouse needs an update, that is coming I understand.

The weather was less than cooperative during our visit but the proximity to the beaches and Fort Pickens was wonderful. Fellow campers were respectful and the amenities were good.

Grounds are kept up very well, only issue was the women's bathroom door auto slams when ever someone came out scared me half to death at 2am maybe need to look into repairing that. But wonderful time

Fort Pickens is a wonderful park and campground, but our night camping there was tarnished because the campers across from us in D25 (I think) were up all night, very loud, foul and disruptive. Where was the park attendant? I'm sure everyone could hear them. It just takes one rotten apple to ruin the bunch. Please have campground hosts at campsites that will actually be there and attend to such offensive behaviors.

Absolutely must visit place if your in Pensacola area. Beautiful nature with white sanded beaches. Most relaxing place!

This is one of my favorite campsites. However, the shower building in section D is in poor condition and the bathroom has inadequate ventilations. The bathroom was always very hot and humid. Also there was not running water at the beach site (only porta johns). I know there was alot of damage after the hurricane last year but I expected more progress than what i saw.
I plan on coming back but i may wait a year for the improvements to be made.

Great campground. Tent loop sites were a bit smaller than hoped but you can't beat the location. Very friendly camp host. Nice bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again.
