It a very good park love the fort and beach but the showers needs a towel bar and to be updated. My camping spot and the one next to it flooded so maybe add some dirt spot E5 and E6.

The parking space is not big enough for a camper and a vehicle to park the way they force you to park. The bathroom and shower do not have ac.

We enjoyed our first visit to this campground. Clean facilities and easy access to the gulf and bay. A severe weather system flooded our spot, but the RV area was fine. Most of our neighbors in the campground were returning as the area is popular and quiet. Recommend the park for those who want to experience the Pensacola area. Got to see the Blue Angels practice and eat in some great restaurants.

Roomy campsites, beautiful area, quiet. Will continue to camp there.downsides: showers dont have enough hooks. Clothes get wet, no where to sit. Little ventilation. The dump station was redone, but the approach is still hard to navigate and the actual dump has a bumper around it so the waste has to travel up before it goes down. The newly surfaced road is amazing!

I love Fort Pickens! You can walk over the boardwalk to a beautiful beach. The Campground is kept clean.

This was my very first time camping in my new rv. I chose a location with an electrical box a little too far from my van and being a newbie I didnt have an extension. When I called the staff to ask if I can move they were very accommodating and understanding. They sent someone out to move the label for my site and he was so sweet. If you love nature and a quiet area, this is the place for you. There are several trails, they have a picturesque view of the bay, and the Fort is very close. The bathrooms were good but the showers need an extreme makeover. Only 2 of them worked at the time that I went and are filled with mildew/mold. The showers are the only thing I would even complain about. Everything else was great. I will definitely stay again.

Fort Pickens State Park never lets us down. The RV accommodations are excellent. Bathhouses and bathrooms stay super clean. Beaches are a short walk across the street and the bay is in your backyard. Must walk the trail out of loop D towards the tip to the wooden bridge to visit the old snapping turtle the resides there. Beachs are super clean and walks along the bay side are beautiful. With so much to do inside the park you wont want to leave .

Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly people great weather and ok fishing. Fishing would have been much better if the fish had been biting! Clean campground and facilities.

I love camping at Fort Pickens. I lived in Pensacola and worked at the park over 35 years ago. It always feels like going home.

Fort Pickens is a wonderful place to camp. The scenery is wonderful. The camp sites are far away from the bustle of Pensacola. We really enjoyed the beaches, and we walked the entire perimeter of the park along the beaches during our stay. Our other favorite activity was watching sunsets. Favorite sites were from the tops of Battery Payne and Battery Langdon. The main fort had a nice tour.

I loved the Blue Angel flyover on Tuesday and Wednesday (their practicing days)! I suggest walking out to a beach on the bay side to catch the best show!

Been to a lot of National/State parks camping over the years, but this one ranks with the all-time favorites. Friendly staff & hosts, clean facilities, and the most beautiful and wonderful location. Beach or bay within a few mins walk any direction, fishing piers, historical exploration, or drive to town and enjoy a wonderful meal. Just wish Three-Mile Bridge wasn’t out—it makes a 20-min trip to Pensacola into an hour-long one, going around.
