I recently travelled from Calgary, AB to camp at this beautiful campground. The campsites were large and private, the lake was beautiful, bathrooms were clean, and the best part of the stay were the human interactions with people who ran the campground. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back next summer! Thank you for the amazing experience!!

Very well run. Mosquitos were active. Just be prepared.

Tally Lake was beautiful. The campsites were nice. The gravel road to and from the campground was long and very bumpy.

Quiet, serene, spacious, and surrounded by recreation opportunities. It is a long dirt road in, but nothing challenging. No bear boxes, at least not on our site. Would definitely return.

Despite the distance to Glacier National Park and the idea that one might find some tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of Whitefish, MT or the constant flow of sitesee-ers to the National Park, this site proved to be a poorly managed and disgusting enclave of poor behavior. We are writing this review from two hours down the road at Seeley Lake Campground where the vault toilets are clean and relatively odorless, the campsites are well maintained, the lake offers a clean recreation area and the hosts promote well maintained campsites. In contrast to this, the Tally Lake Campground was a stinking, mud hole, over-run by the worst type of RV campers. Sites that clearly could not accommodate more than two vehicles and possibly a smaller RV/trailer were crammed with large RV trailers, multiple tents, several vehicles, boats, and far too many occupants. Dogs were allowed to roam off-leash and on several occasions lunged at both passerby and our own dogs. On several occasions the host stopped to talk to one such family, but never addressed the large rottweiler that was allowed off-leash. The vault toilets were near capacity with the over saturation of campsite occupants, resulting in a smell that resembled spoiled, canned salmon and the most sickly of human excrement. Our camp fire ring had clearly not been maintained or emptied for multiple visits as the ashes had accumulated past the holes which allow oxygen to feed the fire. Again, if you are looking for some semblance of tranquility, this is not the place as side-by-sides will frequently ride through the campground, quiet hours for generators are not adhered to nor enforced, children and dogs frequently cut through your campsite, and the forest service road adjacent to the campsite is a main thoroughfare for OHV type vehicles. We have been driving across America for 6 weeks and this has been, by far, the worst campground we have been to.
