The campsites are large and roomy. The restrooms were clean. The beach area is nice and has an ample swimming area. The Hosts were friendly. This campground gets a lot of use throughout the season, so the sites are barren of vegetation and can get dusty during dry periods.

If you don't mind traveling 8 miles on gravel, dusty roads into and out of the Tally Lake campground location and dealing with the dust that gets stirred up by the vehicles coming and going which made the roadside sites very dusty and not pleasant, then you will likely enjoy the lake, beach area and small boat launch for water fun. The roads inside the campground are also gravel which contributes to the dust issue.The campground is landscaped with tall Larch trees. Some campsites are available with pull-thru for larger RV's.Not much privacy throughout the otherwise clean campground. Site 28 was nice, however, fairly open, next to the roads, and dusty. Hosts were accommodating, pit bathrooms were clean and overall a secluded campground.

Tally Lake campground is a familiar site with us. Some of the reasons weve camped here for the last 40+ years is because of wide gravel parking pads, both back in and pull trough. The toilets are freshened daily! Water is nearby, huge campfire rings, and a clean area when you arrive. The beach is grassy with tables and benches. It has a open mowed area for huge groups or a football or beach ball game. A beautiful area far enough out of town to relax.

I recently travelled from Calgary, AB to camp at this beautiful campground. The campsites were large and private, the lake was beautiful, bathrooms were clean, and the best part of the stay were the human interactions with people who ran the campground. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back next summer! Thank you for the amazing experience!!

The water in site 33, which is awkward to go to as it is in the site, had very poor water pressure. All other taps were great. Camp hosts were great. Have tried to book the group site for years with no luck. Hopefully next year.

The camp hosts came to chat to us and offered activities which were free to our kids. They gave us advice and even helped us find huckleberries! Toilets were clean- pit toilets but very clean and maintained well. The lake was stunning and we loved swimming in it. The road to the lake is rough gravel- but it was ok to drive once you had done it once. Miles from anywhere but probably nicest campsite we stayed at- mostly because of the host kidness, the lake and the scenery! Would 100% book with no hesitation!!! Dare I say it- maybe nicer than glacier campsites!

Please don't go here...I want it all to myself. It is quiet and beautiful.

Super large lot with lake access and a massive firepit. Had a wonderful time! Make sure you close the gates when your whole party is there to avoid people coming through. We also paddled over to the cliffs left of the campsite and jumped off of them, it was a blast!

Very well run. Mosquitos were active. Just be prepared.

Kelly Lake is such a beautiful spot and more secluded from the busyness of campgrounds surrounding Glacier

Nice campground, lots of trees and beautiful lake and stream. Couple of nice trails close by. Camp hosts friendly and kept everything clean and tidy. Lots of mosquito's which I knew there would be from experience, but told later in year not as bad. No cell service which for me is a bonus. Why go camping and spend all of your time on your phone. Enjoy Nature!!! Good place to camp!

Spot 39 is a great small group site. The camp hosts were very good. We will go back

Excellent spot. Hiked and explored the trail right out from the camp spot all the way to the gate of another dirt road. You can see into this spot when you drive around the road loop, but many spots in this group camping area offer complete privacy. Camp host wanted to see my reservation, and I was able to barely bring it up online, as AT&T provided a bar of service. Verizon users complained of no service. You may want to take a screenshot or print out your reservation before arriving.

The camp hosts were not doing their job. I have stayed at Tally many times and the previous hosts were very detailed, assuring the bathrooms were clean, the grounds maintained , the bees managed (traps hung ), the dock was out and would have been thoughtful enough to let campers know when they arrived if there was an issue with any core services. (the website mentioned construction, so I expected to hear heavy equipment off and on as they worked on the roads, but there was no warning about there being NO POTABLE WATER)The current hosts:1. Failed to refill the sanitizer in the bathroom at all during our 2 night stay which was empty on arrival, though they dropped off one toilet paper roll at a time a few times a day, I saw campers carrying their own TP into the bathroom closest to our campsite #4 several times.2. Failed to let us know on arrival (when it would have been easy to leave and obtain water) that none of the water spigots throughout the camp were functioning resulting in NO POTABLE WATER our entire stay.3. Failed to do any bee/yellow jacket maintenance, no traps were hung and the bees were so bad we could not stay on the beach and only had relief when out on the lake.4. Failed to put out the dock and when asked about it seemed put out So if we were camping without any services, what was the $24/night getting us? NOTHING.I did contact recreation.gov re above and they submitted a request for a refund which has to be reviewed by the Facilities manager. I will be calling the Facilities manager re above. My husband and I were very disappointed in the camp hosts/issues above.

We were in the Pavilion group camp and after only 2 days into our 10 day reservation we were disrupted by construction. They were behind on construction and the guy from the construction came into our site and started swearing and verbally abusing our group that we needed to move trailers. We moved the trailer he needed and for the next 3 days it was big machinery digging trenches literally feet from our trailer. The trenches were left open at night which was a huge safety hazard especially with our children. Before the construction guy came into our site and started hollaring and swearing we were given no communication that there would be the construction right beside our trailers. This carried on for 3 days in our site. Ruined our holiday. Side note: we have photo/video of the whole ordeal including the verbal abuse by the construction guy.

Great campsite, great lake.

Great place to camp with plenty of room between sights butConstruction / improvements was occurring during our stay which was disclosed at booking. However, there was no dust control for the high volume of equipment traffic and was definitely needed.Once the improvements are completed, it appears that sites will be very tight.

We have been trying to get this spot for years and finally lucked out. Loved that it was right on the water and secluded from other camp spots. Nice and spacious too

We were not told about the construction. So our camping experience was really terrible and not peaceful at all.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
