Good: The campground as a whole was very nice. The bathrooms were clean and the lake was very pretty. We saw several deer at our campsite, which was fun.Bad: Our specific campsite did not have any shade, so trying to do anything outside before the sun went down was brutal. Also, there was no specific check-in procedure, which was very confusing. We got there right at 2pm and had no clue what to do. We went to the host site to say that we had arrived, and the host didn't seem to care/know why we were there. I had booked our campsite for two nights and planned on spending a majority of our time at Glacier NP, and because we were car-camping, we didn't have anything to leave at our site while we were gone. While leaving Glacier NP the second evening, I had finally gotten service around 4pm and received a text asking if we still wanted our campsite and that they would open it up to the public if we didn't get there by 2pm. This was incredibly frustrating, as we had booked that site several months ago and would've had nowhere else to stay. Although they had opened our site to the public (even though I had fully booked it for two nights), I luckily received service in time to notify the host that we would be back and they took it off the market. The host also asked if we had even been there the night before, because they "didn't see us there when they did final rounds at 9:30" when we had literally gone to the host site to notify them that we were there. Very confusing process. Would have liked more information and a more clear check-in/out procedure to ensure that the host knew we were there, plus a notification saying that we had a 9:30pm curfew to return to our site. I don't know why they are allowed to open up the spot to the public that had already been booked and paid for just because "we didn't leave anything at the site when we left". That didn't make any sense and seems like a money grab.

Beautiful campground, bathrooms were clean and we enjoyed the beautiful lake just behind our campsite. Host was friendly and helpful.

A pleasant place to camp in a beautiful area. Quick access to the reservoir and fishing areas. There were a lot of folks driving noisy atvs and side by sides, so be aware that is the kind of crowd you can find here. The campsite did quiet down during quiet hours though. Most of the campsites are fairly open with minimal tree cover, except on the south side.

Better than expected. Close to Glacier but just remote enough to feel like you are “out there”. Great camp hosts.

Host was excellent. Wildlife (deer?) visited the site. Apply bug spray liberally. GFi was spotty from the hwy and absent from the site.
