The best spot there

Ice House is an amazing campground. We had campsite 31 and it was right next to the lake and a little more secluded compared to the main campsite areas, it was perfect. The campsite was large, including 2 bear lockers, 2 picnic tables, and a metal campfire stove. The bathroom and showers were very clean as well, and they offered a small stack of firewood for $8 at the host's campsite. Although make sure you bring cash for the firewood and quarters for the showers. Also there are a few water faucets scattered throughout the campgrounds for washing off anything. The campgrounds also has designated "quiet time" from 10pm to 6am, so there weren't any problems regarding noisy campers or anything. Overall we had a great experience at Ice House Campgrounds

Icehouse lake is such a beautiful and serene place to visit. The camp hosts were amazing and sites were great. If you are looking for a great escape off of Highway 50 in the forest, I highly recommend this place!
