Camp hostess was great! Camp sites and bathrooms were clean. Campsites had nice space between them.

Very disappointed. On the way in it says this is a cashless facility yet you need quarters to take a 4 minute shower. Camp hosts (if you can call them that) are rude and were off duty the entirety of my stay. Additionally they locked up the shower before it was scheduled to be closed which was the main reason we chose this campground. As if that wasnt enough- there were two bears frequenting the sites largely due to lack of supervision by camp hosts and the camp hosts not securing trash.

Just got back from a four day stay, this was our second year here and we will for sure return next year. The views are amazing from any loop you stay in, we have been lucky enough to check out both loops, each year we camped in a different loop. The area is well kept including the bathroom (outhouse) and the showers are very nice just don't forget quarters. This is bear country so be mindful of putting away all food. We did have neighbors who did not put away their food so we did have a visitor at night, luckily if you are smart enough to use the bear lockers provided you should not have any problems. Happy camping :)

We camped at Meadow Loop site 26. It was very close to the lake, easy to back a trailer into, had a nice little picnic area and was shady by the late afternoon. Close to the vault toilets (blessing in the middle of the night, curse when they cleaned it during the day!) and a dumpster (again, blessing to be close, annoying when you go to bed and your partying neighbors keep slamming it well into the night).Showers were available at the boat launch area ($3 in quarters for 4 minutes) which was within easy walking distance or less than a minute drive.Definitely worth using this site if you love swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding as it's one of the closest sites to the water and you don't have as far to lug things.

Ice House Campground/Reservoir has been completely renovated. We glamped at Boulder Loop with a vice of the lake.Every camp site had paved, very wide parking for our trailer and truck. Plenty of restrooms. Lots of beaches to hang our on neat te water and numerous day camps around the lake.

We loved our stay here! Would definitely pick this spot again. Very close to water, bathrooms, garbage & path to the reservoir. The only thing I think would be good to note is that because of the location you will find some campers taking a short cut to the path through your campsite. Also, if you have reactive dogs they will be seeing a lot of other dogs going up and down that path.

Amazing site! We loved our stay at Meadow Loop. We were trying to stay at Strawberry Point 6 mins up the road but it was full and apparently is very hard to get a spot. We had no reservations and drove around Meadow Loop campground trying to find something, stressed we would have to improvise a second night in a row on our road life stint with two little kids. On our way out, feeling defeated after seeing all the reserved signs, the host (I believe her name is Ashley) stopped us and asked how long we were looking to stay. She set us up at site 18 and was an angel to our trip!The campground was recently renovated, I think the host said 3 years ago. The bathrooms were well maintaned as far as outhouses go, they were regularly cleaned. The host greets every guest shortly after they arrive and gives them the rundown on the campground, including bear updates. There is a regular adult male bear who is well known and not aggressive but persistent if you have something really good, he will sit and wait. There was also a juvenile male base that started appearing recently in the afternoons that we actually watched her chase off with a bear horn and a megaphone. She upholds the rules well too; speed limit, keep dogs leashed, etc.The sites we were at were pretty close together so it did lack privacy in that aspect. You also have to be careful at site 18 because of falling spikey green pinecones that the squirrels drop. One dropped from really high up onto my shoulder blade and made me bleed, just a foot away from hitting my infant in the head.The site was pretty good for solar, especially in the afternoon. You will have to make adjustments throughout the day. I would also use a canopy at site 18 because there is virtually no shade in the afternoon. Lastly, the trees lining this site were great for using to hang dry our laundry.I would definitely stay here again and miss this site already! The reservoir itself was gorgeous! Thanks for being our camp host angel, Ashley!

Only complaint was the online payment system. I am a retired IT professional and found it very difficult to navigate this system. Also registering the boat trailer for parking was ridiculous. No license number needed, paper receipt taped to the hitch. Dont know how that can be regulated. Pretty poor system. Once figured out I was able to help others with the same complaint

The lake was beautiful and the campground was super clean and well maintained. We were in the Boulder Oaks section and had a great view of the mountains in the distance. The campground has a great vibe and is very quiet after dark. There is a water fill tank area and a dump station. It was our first time there and we will definitely go back next year.

Great location. Great camp hosts. Great weather.BUT-The quality of guests has changed for the worse. It's like they have gone from "Campers" to "Concert attendees"No respect for the site , other campers, or the posted rules.Blatant washing of heavily food covered dishes at spigots.Leaving garbage behind at the lake.Walking right through other people's campsites, no matter the time of day while talking loud and/or walking their dogs. No adherence to quiet time hours.Making a mess at spigots and pushing "leftovers" down through grate.If this is similar next year, we will have to abandon our annual trip to Ice House and find another place not overrun with people who show no respect for the campsite or others trying to enjoy it.

I appreciated that the campground workers cleaned the bathrooms daily.

GREAT Camping Spot. But, If you change your camp spot once the reservation already started (after midnight day before), there is no way to allow the campsite to post to other campers that it's available. Otherwise, we love this spot for camping!

Great spot, caught some huge trout, just remember that it's bear country lol. Make sure to lock up the ice chest! Had a great time in spite of the Bear. He was picky and only ate the good sausage and not the cheap hot dogs lol

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
