We LOVED our stay at this camp ground! Beautiful view from our site, really quiet and peaceful. The website said there weren't bear boxes, but they are there which was a great surprise. Will absolutely be going back!!

This year the water was very, very low. We found trash in our campsite, marshmallow bags, small pieces everywhere and lots of cigarette butts. Besides that we had a great time. It was quiet and lots of sites were open probably because of the low water and smoke from nearby fires.

This is a beautiful area and the campsite is right in the middle of the reservoir, truly living up to it's "sunset" name. Our site was great and the facilities were brand new. The reservoir is large and we spent the whole day kayaking around - so perfect for our purposes. The website didn't tell you but each site had a large bear box. My only issue is the other people, many of whom were there more for a drunken party than to spend time in the woods. Our neighbors were extremely loud until 2am (well past the quiet hours) and a ranger only came by once to quiet them down (for a grand total of 5 minutes). Needs better enforcement of policies and for people to respect others.
