The Panguitch Lake North Campground is in a very desirable location. This year's camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. As almost every visitor knows, this campground looks like it has had no capital improvement since it was built -- 50 to 75 years ago. Many of the trees are too close to the road and make driving an RV challenging. A clearing of three or four feet from the blacktop edge would be a major improvement and not have a negative effect on the campground's natural surroundings. The national forest in this area is large and could easily accommodate the expansion of the campground. The restroom while functional, it is too small for a relatively large campground.

We enjoyed our stay at the Panguitch Lake campground (North side). It was quiet and peacefull. The camp hosts did an excellent job keeping the campground clean in spite of people trashing the restrooms. We were advised ahead of of our arrival date that campfires would be allowed, which we appreciated. What we didn't like was to arrive and find the dump station out of order and due to all the rain that the area was experiencing the campground seven miles down the road from Panguitch lake also had it's dump station closed. So we had to travel down to the town of Panguitch, which is 17 miles (one way) to dump our RV. If you can send out notices about campfires, then you should also be able to send out notifications about dump stations being closed! An early notification on the dump station situation would have allowed us to dump and fill up in a nearby city before heading up the mountain to the campground.

Campsite was very nice, well spaced from others and peaceful. Joselyn was a great campsite manager being very helpful and friendly.Have camped here for over 40 years and it is still a great experience.

Jocelyn was the greatest. Campsite was very clean. Dump station broken so that sucks.

Looking forward to returning.
