would not recommend this campsite due to the extremely unprofessional management. From the start, the staff were rude and dismissive, and instead of making us feel welcome, they only came around to complain about our group even though other campers were doing the exact same things we were. What made the situation worse was the way we were treated differently compared to others, which came across as discriminatory and racist.Campsites should be about creating a safe, inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy the outdoors, but that was not the case here. We left feeling singled out and unwelcome. Management needs serious training in customer service, fairness, and respect. Until then, I would strongly recommend camping elsewhere.

Best stay ever. Bathrooms were clean, very nice camp hosts. Clean camp sites.

When planning a camping trip for our group of eight family members, we were hoping for a peaceful, stress-free weekend. Things started off well—the host was incredibly accommodating a the Panguitch Lake North Campground and even saved us three spots that morning before our arrival when one of my daughters came that morning. We were warmly welcomed and given helpful information. The sites were conveniently located near the restrooms and initially seemed perfect.
Unfortunately, our experience quickly soured due to a long-term camper in site #9. This individual appeared to take it upon herself to enforce campground rules, often aggressively and without any authority. Early in the day, I witnessed her yelling at a passing truck to “slow down,” despite the vehicle not appearing to be speeding. I brushed it off at the time.
Later that evening, around 9:45 PM, my adult daughter and her boyfriend were walking back from the restroom when the camper emerged from her tent and began shouting, “Go to bed, it’s quiet time!” My daughter calmly responded that they were heading to bed, but the camper continued to yell. My son, in site #8, intervened and asked her to mind her own business. She then radioed security.
Around 10:20 PM, we heard two kids giggling as they walked by, and once again, the camper yelled at them. Their parents also expressed concern about her aggressive behavior. Security came by, and we explained the situation. As experienced campers, we understand and respect quiet hours, but this felt more like a curfew or mandatory lights-out policy. Strangely, other campers nearby were still enjoying their evening at their tables, yet we were told to retreat to our tents.
The next morning, the host approached us and said, “Hopefully tonight will be quiet.” I explained that we weren’t being loud, my daughter was simply walking to the restroom. Another daughter was told the issue was car doors opening and closing, which was happening at multiple sites, not just ours.
Feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, we packed up the night before our scheduled checkout and left by 7:30 AM. The atmosphere felt more like a jail than a relaxing campground. My advice: avoid reserving a spot near site #9 if you’re looking to enjoy the outdoors peacefully. While rules are important, the presence of an overbearing long-term resident negatively impacted our stay. A more balanced and respectful approach would have made all the difference.
Also worth noting site #9 is a first-come, first-served spot, which raises questions about the camper’s apparent authority and relationship with the host and security.

Beautiful campground! You can tell the camp hosts really care. #11 has a beautiful view of the lake and had plenty of room for our 3 kids to play. Our only complaint is that the bathrooms were a little far from our site but they are nice with flush toilets so they are worth the walk.

Campsite #6 is nice and long and accommodated our 33ft trailer just fine. The site and entire campground is very clean. The multiple camp hosts are always available and answered any questions we had. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful campground. Facilities were working and clean. The only issue we had was the parking. We had a big group and the website and the host didnt have the same information regarding how many cars are included with the site. We were glad there was a little parking lot for extra vehicles though. Had a great time. We will be back.

We were in site 11 which was lovely with beautiful views of a meadow with deer and cows in the distance, and a little view of the lake. Plenty of space between sites. Bathrooms were clean with flush toilets and sink. Camp host was friendly and helpful. The camp management company was especially helpful prior to arrival answering questions about fire smoke and swimming in the lake, and taking the time to research and call me back to inform me that the water issue had been resolved. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that there is no signage to direct you to your site--luckily we came in the right way to be able to access our site. Also no signs to the dump station which is offsite, and the campground staff has to meet you there to fill your trailer tank with potable water.

Nice place, but far from Panguitch town, and no close access to the lake.

A long ways from the lake & no access. Water was off, bathrooms were closed. They brought in a few porta potties but they quickly filled up and were constantly out of TP. The wash stations ran out of water and soap. Requested a refund, but only got 20% back. Never going back.
@RaulA008837710 · Camped on Jun 23, 2025 at Campsite #39
When I booked my site online, the website did not inform me that there was no water available to fill my fresh water tank. Also there was no dump facility available. Since there was no water supply all the bathrooms were closed. The campground did offer porta potties however the ones nearest our camp site were quite full. The bright spot was our very helpful camp manager!
@JodiD9D5B3F1B8 · Camped on Jun 22, 2025 at Campsite #PGs
We only booked this campsite because they have water and bathrooms with flushed toilets and when we arrived, they had broken pipes so we had no water the entire camping trip and had to use a portapotty the entire time. The only refund they gave us was for $39 when our total bill was over $200. Half our camping party turned around and drove home because they did not want to camp with no water. Would have thought we would have gotten a larger refund or at least have been notified of no water so we could have cancelled before we got there

Place was pleasant, and nicely shaded with trees to block the sun for part of the day. However, on our visit there were apparently issues with the water lines (only for the campground and the dump site nearby, other nearby locations had working water but not part of the campground...) So we had no access to the toilets actually on the campground as they were dysfunctional with the water issues, which were substituted by multiple portable toilets focused near the toilet facilities. So there was no water in the whole area to use unless you drive all the way back to Cedar Break monument. Just wish I could've gotten a warning about the lack of water at the location, as the only warning posted was on the bulletin board upon entering the campground.

We loved our time at the Pang group site. The only downside was that the water was turned off due to a leak, so bathrooms and drinking water were turned off. This caused people to walk directly through our camp to the portable toilets. Most people were kind enough to try to walk above or below the camp but we did have a group walk through our site, like in front of our tents. We would still come back, though. The view was beautiful and the weather was perfect. The site had plenty of shade and plenty of room for a very large group

We usually camp here and its an amazing experience, but this time it was horrible. Out of nowhere we were informed that we had to pay for an extra vehicle which has never happened before. Then we were also informed even though pre-booking and couldve been warned that there had been no running water the whole summer. We booked this campsite due to the running water and a bathroom since we do have young children. Instead of running water, they provided us with Porta potties that hadnt been cleaned for over two weeks and a hand washing station that had no soap, no water and no paper towels. Furthermore, since they were aware that there was no whirling water they failed to inform people who had pre-booked to bring extra water to compensate for their failures. Then we bought firewood, and it had now gone up over four dollars more a bundle than it previously had it. We ended up having to go to the convenience store to obtain extra water due to our lack of water and lack of preparation based on their failures. We found out at the convenience store that their wood bundles are six dollars a bundle not 10 like the campsite is. We were unable to return the extra cost bundles to the campsite so we had to stick with that. additionally, the campsite manager was more concerned about us not having a dog since she didnt believe on keeping hers on leashes, then she was with making sure anything else was taken care of. This is our usual campsite, and we are completely disappointed in how it was handled and the lack of maintenance of this campsite this year. We will probably not be returning anytime soon due to this.

The campsite was nice. Peekaboo view of the lake. Lots of shade and room between sites. The campground is very nice. The one bathroom closest to us was closed for some unknown reason. We had to walk through the day use group site to get to the other closest restroom which was awkward. The toilet blew up in my face when I was flushing which was awful. Air in the line. Run the sink before using the toilet I guess. There was a large group of youth in the sites neighboring us. They did not respect the night quiet hours which apparently arent enforced. There was another family up early around 6 am where the kids were shouting and were loud. There were ORVs circling the campground which it said was not allowed. We fortunately had white noise to counter all the noise but were surprised that the quiet hours were not observed. Or other rules enforced. Why have rules at all. People just do what they want. Sadly gone are the days of common courtesy and etiquette. The bathroom situation was very disappointing. All in all we had a good trip and will probably go there again since its close to home and allows us early access to the lake.

Wonderful stay to close out the weekend! Beautiful site, so clean! Bathrooms in excellent condition. Dump station is right down the road at white bridge for 8.00. Ranger Junior and Campground host Leo were more than helpful and accommodating!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
