would not recommend this campsite due to the extremely unprofessional management. From the start, the staff were rude and dismissive, and instead of making us feel welcome, they only came around to complain about our group even though other campers were doing the exact same things we were. What made the situation worse was the way we were treated differently compared to others, which came across as discriminatory and racist.Campsites should be about creating a safe, inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy the outdoors, but that was not the case here. We left feeling singled out and unwelcome. Management needs serious training in customer service, fairness, and respect. Until then, I would strongly recommend camping elsewhere.

Very relaxing stay even with on and off rain showers. This campground is always maintained very well.

Lane and Peter are great camp hosts. Very visible and approachable.

Sure wish there was internet!

The campground was really nice. The bathrooms were clean and maintained. The lake was really close for fishing. The only issue we had was upon arrival. We have a 40ft. 5th wheel and the tree branches scraped the top of our camper. They maintenance people should keep that in mind and trim the branches up higher. Also, I booked a pull-through site that was for a 40ft. trailer as stated online, but when we arrived, the camp host put us in another spot because our rig was too large. Everything worked out fine, but the online site should be updated and accurate because this could have been an issue since we booked a holiday weekend. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay here again!

The only complaint is I was admonition for parking off the pavement but the gravel and pavement were so mixed up there was no clear line between the two. Better markings are needed so people can clearly see where the pavement ends and the gravel/dirt begins.

Im giving our trip to Panguitch Lake a poor rating not because the site or camp host was poor, those both were actually great. We loved our time there. Im rating this poor because the online reservation system of specific sites is poor. Apparently across the country its this way. But why would you show a site thats already been reserved and paid for as first come first served instead of a very obvious blocked out or unavailable!? Labeling it so unclearly /this way allows a reserved site to get mixed in and confused with the other specific first come first serve sites. This is terribly misleading to unknowing customers, travelers, recreationers. If youre not aware of this, watch out! Just because a site says its first come first served on a specific day does not mean it is. On reservable sites it means it actually is already booked. Unfortunately, as relatively new camp site users (weve dry camped for years and years) we had to learn this the hard way last week at Panguitch Lake. Lesson learned for next time. Gratefully our camp host (Jocelyn) was amazing and helped us figure out an alternative plan, without which our family trip wouldve been ruined. So, the request is for Recreation.gov to fix this terribly misleading approach and just make it simply obvious that a site is reserved already and dont make it look like the other FF sites, please! For the love of Pete. As for the rest of us, until they do beware and well know better next time. -Perplexed in Panguitch
