Great roomy and wooded campsites. No access to the lake from there but you can drive to it. Beautiful country in every direction, and would especially drive the Mammoth Creek Road to highway 14.

Beautiful site with plenty shade in the warmer months. The site we had faced a pond which we didnt care for but the sunrise/sunset made up for it.

We stayed on a Tuesday night so it was pretty quiet. The campsite did not offer many options for flat areas for tents but had a slight view of the lake. There are no areas to hike around the area that we could find. The lake water level is very very low and unless you bring your own boat to fish from there are not many areas to fish from shore. We ended up staying only one night because of the monsoonal rains coming in the afternoon and it was not very conducive to having a high energy puppy.
