The night sky was the best dark and clear sky I have seen in years. Very few places in this county have such good night-sky viewing. The campsite was clean and available as reserved. All was quiet day and night. The nearness to the places of interest was excellent.

This is a stunning camp site,Site 8 is beautiful.Wonderful view, access to the river with a little path right at the site.It's view to split mountain is Great.The tent site is not too big. Our 6 person tent did fit plus a canopy, but had to move the Picknick Tabel.It offers shade too We liked it a lot.Clean bathroom!!

Its a convenient spot to stay for a visit to Dinosaur NM. There is a historic farm across the river and a farm dog was barking through the entire night; I did not sleep at all. The chipmunks are relentless lol, they will harass you while you are cooking and they will approach despite human proximity. Otherwise, it is well maintained and was a great place to take my relative who doesnt do much camping.

Green River Campground was surrounded by beautiful views! The facilities were clean and well tended. And its the perfect spot within easy reach of many amazing sights in Dinosaur National Monument. Sadly it was too cloudy to see the night sky in all the darkness there, but we will be back!

The staff at Yampa was very good and the park in general was very clean (ie: restrooms, showers, sites, etc.)

Spent three days at Green River Campground. Clean, well maintained, and great nightly programs by the park rangers. Plenty of things to keep you busy - hiking, dinosaur quarry, relaxing, fishing, etc.

Clean bathrooms and friendly camp hosts. Other than the river hike, there is not a ton to do in the campground, but the hike to dinosaur quarry was a good little workout and the rangers were very well-informed.

Great little campground with a variety of sites to select (shaded, open, small, larger, etc.). All sites seemed to have paved parking pad, which was nice. Bathrooms were kept clean and had 2 flush toilets and a sink w/mirror. Campground was maybe 1/3 full, so we could select any open site, even though we made reservations for site 8. There was no shade, so we opted for a different site in the other section - site 61 and the camp hosts were great about the change. With it being this time of year, we didnt miss no hookups, so it was pleasant for sleeping.
