Nice campground very close to the river. Quiet at night and very dark in the evening for stargazing.

Beautiful campground on the Greene River. The campground hosts were friendly and made their presence known(appreciated). The chipmunks WILL try to steal your food! Amazing scenery of the surrounding mountains and right on the river if you need to soak your feet after a long day of hiking. The bathrooms were missing soap/paper towels all three days I was there so 1-star deduction. No cell service, but the visitors center does and it's a short drive away.I thought it was odd there was no rangers to assist with check-in. Basically the honor system!

Had to decide between 3 or 4 stars.
Nice location, but not much privacy. Sites were pretty close to one another. I could hear other camper's conversations when they spoke at a normal voice. The hosts were great. The restrooms had running water and were overall pretty clean, but haven't been painted or given an update in a while. This campground is very family friendly (read: lots of noisy kids even after quiet hours)
My 2 nights here were just fine. Nothing more nothing less. Would I come back, no. I would much prefer more privacy and more remote to avoid the RV'ers. I would call this more of an RV Park than campground. We tent camp so we can't just shut the door to our RV and drown out the noise while watching Netflix inside.

Loved our campsite #35 Loop B. Flat ground which helps for setting up our tent. Not too close and not too far to the bathrooms. Bathrooms were very clean and flush toilets. Friendly camp host, she visited us to make sure we were OK and went over some stuff, which was very helpful. Morning had shade from the sun, but afternoon very sunny at the campsite.
