Liked the campsite. Easy access to the river including a little swim area for the kids. Have to be careful of the squirrels... They like to steal food

Quiet campground. We had trees all around which was nice. Basic amenities but this was sufficient for us.

We love Green River Campground at Dinosaur National Monument! We were a little early for prime cottonwood color this year, but the weather was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed hiking, biking and (of course) visiting the Quarry Exhibit Hall, which greatly exceeded our expectations. We plan to go back and float the Green River soon.

We had a great visit. They had a ranger talk about Corvids while we were there that was informative and a lot of fun (especially for the kids).

The Green River Campground was great. Camping by myself for the first time, I was a little nervous. I felt completely safe; I was able to sleep peacefully and enjoy my camp fire without being worried. The caretakers were extreamly nice and kept an eye out for me. There is no cell service, however I don't mind being out of contact with the world.

I look forward to visiting again when I have more leisure, and my injuries are healed enough to explore the hiking opportunities nearby. cT

This is a lovely campground right on the Green River with lots of tall shade trees. I was worried it would be too hot while we were there - it was in the upper 80’s in the afternoons but it felt very pleasant at the campground. There is access to the river where you can wade in the water to cool off too. The kids had a great time playing at the water’s edge. The scenery is typical Utah beautiful and the dinosaur exhibit and surrounding petroglyphs are spectacular.

Great place for a one night stay.
We were by one of the dumpsters, which smelled alternately of sour milk and unidentifiable nastiness.

Easy access to the dinosaur quarry which is great with kids. Campground has relatively large spots and shade from trees. No possibility to swim in the river, although many animals come here to drink which is great fun to see. Water tabs were not working and camp host was off duty. Due to fires in the west we could not enjoy our view. Overall, campground could be enriched with more opportunities for kids to play and enjoy their stay.
