A small number of late arrivals (after 10:00 p.m) interuppted the peacefulness of this campsite. One happened to land next to my site. They set up tents, chopped firewood and did not follow quiet hours protocol. Otherwise this was a beautiful site.

It was what we hoped for. We had good neighbors. Host was kind.

Really nice area by the river with a lovely view, campground had great amenities. the space was fine with table and fire on a flat area. We had a lot of chipmunks visiting (although we didn't give them any food they hung around). Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Well located to visit the park. We enjoyed our stay there especially when we went to put put our feet in the river before sunset in a little creek made from stones.

The sites had nice spacing between them. One negative there are no dumpsites in the park.

Great campground host. Easy access to great hiking trails and dinosaur fossil exhibits.

I came to the campsite, it looked great, but the day I was there in August the Parsley and Caldor wild fires made it so smokey, I didn't stay the night in my tent. I'd love to come back on a clear night for the good star gazing.

My grandkids ages 6 and 10 rated this campground their favorite of all time. Plenty of room to ride their bikes, tons of kids to play with and the river was excellent to cool off in the afternoon. The adults enjoyed the shade trees and friendly hosts. The sites are well spaced and the restrooms were clean. I'd recommend filling water jugs in the morning as water pressure was lower in the afternoon.

There were good hikes from here. The campers were pretty awesome, friendly and quiet at night.

I enjoyed my stay at Green River Campground. Site 75 which is a FF site. You can hear the river at this site. I had my camper/trailer with me which was in the shade at the hottest time of day although the campsite, picnic table and fire ring are in full sun all day and evening. I left my camper there for 3 days while I rafted Gates of Lodore. I bathed in river. Bathroom and freshwater very close. No showers. You hv to dump all gray water in sewer by bathhouse. Nice hike to Split Mtn campground (full sun). Loved the hike at Split Mtn!

This park/campground is off the beaten path and therefore the visitors are pretty motivated to get there and therefore appreciate the beauty and solitude it offers.
