Restroom facilities need to be updated 1 toilet for 10 campsites. Really hard to get business done.

This was our first trip to this campground. Like so many other campgrounds it is hard to judge what you are selecting based off of the pictures on the reservation site. So we made our reservation 6 months out because we were unsure of the demand for when we wanted to visit. We originally booked site 42 and it was baking in the afternoon sun. Site 30 is full shade and so much better if you are tent camping. We ended up staying in site 63 which is a first come first serve site. It had great shade but it had two other sites that were in the same opening and were really close. We probably wouldn't do more than an overnight here in the future because there isn't a lot to do in the park.On the day we arrive there were some campers that had a chair and their firewood stolen out of their site. Plus some of the RVs want to run their generators after quiet hours. Just be aware.

Beautiful. Great tent sites, lots of shade, uncrowded & clean bathrooms - at least the weekend we were there. Not terribly far from Vernal or Dinosaur NM visitor center. Highly recommended.

We stayed in #42b over a long Memorial Day weekend. The campground was mostly full the whole weekend. I had done some research on the best spots in Green River campground and I think we got a really good one. B is b loop, not too far or too close to the enterance, easy to get in and out and not busy with cars coming and going either. The site has a large 2 car tandem pad, plenty of room for our 4Runner and Cricket trailer. The site has a couple very large cottonwood trees providing lots of shade and a big rock the boys played cars on. Fire ring and picnic table were in good shape, the grasses were overgrown but not cumbersome. Easy short cut through to the bathrooms, they were clean but older, real toilets and sink with mirror. There was a water fountain outside with an additional faucet, trash was right there too. Firewood for sale as well. This was a great site in the Green River Campground and probably one of the better ones when compared to the other sites.
This is a great campground with wonderful hikes. The only problem we had was with a camper who ran a very noisy generator. There needs to be some regulation considering the noise some of these generators put out.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
