Great campground in the shadow of the mighty Split Mountain. It's a typical NPS campground, nice sites with picnic tables and fire rings, and comfort stations with running water and flush toilets. Cell signal is good, but there are not the amenities you'd find in a state park or private campground (utilities, shower house, wifi, etc). Enjoy it for what it is, in one of the most interesting places on earth. Canyons, desert, mountains, fossils, all within an hour of you, many great hikes. Fishing hint - the Green River, for which the campground is named, is loaded with channel cat. Chicken liver on the bottom, and in early June, right off the bank. Follow Utah fishing regulations and license requirements.

The campground is quiet and dark-perfect for good sleeping and amazing stargazing. There were no camp hosts this late in the year, but we didn't need to contact them this trip. The views are lovely and we enjoyed hiking and biking in the park. Definitely will return! Know that some sites have better shade than others, if you need that. We were fine without.

The restrooms were in terrible repair and dirty. We did not feel comfortable and left to stay somewhere else.

Very very nice. Beautiful location with access to Green River for swimming. Close to drop off point for many rafting experiences (1 mile walk). Note that some sites with lower numbers are very exposed, and others are very close to other campers. So choose carefully.

Great place to visit. Activities are all within close proximity to the campground.

Location of campground was excellent. Allowed us excellent access to scenic drive, dinosaur quarry & hiking trails. Our campsite was level, quiet with good exposure to dark skies. It would have been nice to have electricity.
