The area is beautiful, campground is great, good access to the lake. But what makes this experience bad is the interaction with the hosts. I was yelled at by the female host because my wife brought a vehicle. Now I selected two vehicles on the reservation and have no problem correcting any faults between that website and the campground.

But having a extremely disgruntled attitude along with assuming I know what your day is like is not good for both those trying to escape and breath their crazy lives. Even the family next me came over and said they were yelled at 3 times. I reconfirmed I selected two vehicles and they insisted I pay the 30 dollars even with my disabled veteran pass. A little shady…

Spring is family tradition. For us, it is heaven on earth! Things have changed so much over the years, but it is still our favorite place. We are on our third generation of campers and are already excited for next year!

Great camphosts! Low water was not a problem

This is a quiet, peaceful campground and the camp hosts were extremely helpful and kind. The minus was the the site we had reserved had such a steep slope to the driveway that, even using many blocks to try to lift the front of our motorhome, we could not get it level So, we had to sign up manually for a different site that was available for our dates and was level, and we had to pay the camp host for it so we ended up with a double charge. The other negative is that the level of the water was so low that there were many rocks exposed on the beach. And the boat ramp, which was in very broken down, terrible condition, ended up being very long to carry our kayaks. We never paddled but just enjoyed being in camp.
