Fun Spot, c;lose to swimming, canoeing, hiking and lots of firewood.

Some of the spots closer to the lake are extremely close together. When we arrived we were surprised to find our neighbors' tent edging in on what we'd consider to be space in our spot. In some instances, there are not many trees or other natural barriers to block noise from one camp spot to the other. And you may find yourself staring directly into others' camp when hanging around the fire, cooking meals, etc. There were several groups over this weekend that were very loud and disruptive, well after "quiet hours." I would hope that the camp host would be doing rounds after quiet time to ask groups to keep their party noise down, at least somewhat. The camp host was also adamant about bringing firewood to you, so when we stopped by to try to buy, they would ask us to wait until someone made the rounds on the firewood golf cart. That was kind of annoying. Overall, Paulina Lake is a great place to visit. There's plenty to do nearby, from hiking/driving to Paulina Peak, checking out the obsidian flow, spending time on lake by boat/SUP/kayak, and Paulina falls/creek, too. This place is definitely Oregon at it's best.
