The lake was perfect for our inflatable kayak, convenient to walk to from our camp site.The Obsidian Flow trail was amazing as was the Lava Lands Lava Cave in nearby Bend (make parking reservation on recreation.gov)!!We would have liked to drive up to Paulina Peak but were advised not to take our 25' rental RV on the gravel road.We needed to use DEET spray to keep from getting bit by the mosquitos and it worked.Beautiful spot , so much to see .We hope to visit again and do more hiking.

Paulina Lake is a great camping spot. Has all you could want in a campsite and the campsite are pretty big. The only downside is there is really no where to swim close the campsites at Paulina lake. In order to swim you need to go to East lake down the down road.

Paulina Lake is a great place to camp. We fished for rainbow trout, hiked the big obsidian flow, hiked to the top of Paulina Peak, Paulina Falls, Lava Butte, and Lava cave.

Great campground. Usual campsite setup. Flushing toliets with sinks for bathroom. Camp host was helpful and had bundles of wood to buy. Great swimming at lodge down the trail.
