Terrific campground along a picturesque lake. Very quiet but central location, convenient to hiking trails and excellent bicycling on the main road. The host was helpful and we enjoyed using the electronic kiosk for onsite registration. We stayed for 2 nights but wished we had stayed longer. This campground and the entire Newberry Monument area is a gem. Highly recommend the campground and the surrounding area. Lots of things to see and do!

Camp hosts are all super helpful and awesome. The campground is extremely quiet with little to no loud partying. There is so much to do in the area compared to a typical campsite you won't be disappointed

There are several excellent campsites at Little Crater, but unfortunately ours was not one of them. Still not a bad campground. You really have to book way ahead to get the good sites. East Lake Campgrond is nicer, but smaller.

beautiful view over the lake. nice tent site. unfortunately, climate change created terrible smoky conditions that affected our enjoyment. hope to return sometime with brighter skies!
