Honestly what troubles me mist is the lack of maintenance overall. Old uncredited for tables that aren't level. Rusting out fire pits, etc. Obviously the fees are not going to maintenance. Camp host was also unhelpful and grumpy.

I was very disappointed to find out that the water supply refill station as I entered. The campground was turned off. I have been going up there for 30 years and I plan on getting my water topped off at the campground in my RV mid week.. I was told some lie about how the water Spicket was broken. The regional manager had covered it up with a plastic bag, but I went over and tried it in the water works just fine.. I spoke with the regional manager, and she said it was turned off because it was being abused by people filling up there trailers, motorhomes, and RVs. I thought this was the purpose for the water Spicket There is a designated parking spot.. the problem is people outside of the campground, filling their water there and they should post a sign with a fine like the garbage sign or with a code with the camp host has to control who uses it I having your available is an expectation, and I feel that he is part of the fee that I pay for when I pay for my campground fee. I think this problem needs to be investigated and a solution to be found other than just covering up the water and not making. available.

A beautiful campground nestled in lava rocks next to Grand Prairie reservoir. Great bike riding breathtaking view of the mountains. The campground is very clean. First day of summer, the mosquitoes hatched, but that’s camping here mosquito spray and Sigonella candles.. great hiking opportunities so much to see nearby, the Deschutes river is very beautiful one of my favorite campgrounds to return to every year the paved roads are a blessing, keeping the deaths down, and the 10 mile an hour limit on the lake is great for kayaking and canoeing much quieter than over at cultus lake.
