The mosquitoes at site 2 were off the charts. I’ve been all over the US, idk those skeeters destroyed us. We had spray and candles but there was no wind at that site. We never got a break, I had at least 50 bites on my legs through my pants.

The water system at Little Lava Lake campground was contaminated. We had to haul water from Little Lava Lake Resort. There was no camp host at either Little Lava Lake campground or Lava Lake campground. We have camped here for 3 years and at no time has the road ever been graded or rocked, ever! Noo trees have been trimmed along the entry road ruining many trailers. No improvements ever happen at this campground. The bathrooms were kept clean by us campers.Why is there not a camp host? Why don't you hire a retired couple who loves to camp, to come oversee the campground? Hire me and my husband ! I love this campground.Please do a few improvements. Other campgrounds in the area are better taken care of.Vicki Bethune
