Beautiful park and campground, including clean restrooms. The boat launch at East Lake is useless for backing trailered boats into the lake. The launch is not maintained. Impossible. Thanks to our friendly camp neighbor, we were able to launch our boat with his 4WD at the lodge beach docks. Sandy and soft, but doable. East Lake launch, however, is okay for kayaks, canoes, etc.We have never seen a camp ranger, or law enforcement official during our summer trips, which makes it uncomfortable to deal with unruly campers, unleased dogs, and speeding boaters. We expect more from our National Park system.

Great hosts! Quiet campground with decent fishing and if the fishing is off, lots to do just a short drive away.

Great time except for the fact that Cinder Hill was the only boat ramp that was still in the water. Also had hail one day that came down sideways and washed gravel and rocks onto the road in the campground but that was Mother Nature's fault.

It’s a great spot & most of the amenities are available. OK I would consider bringing my own firewood, the facility needs the fish cleaning shack, and we couldn’t use the boat launch because the water was too low. The park service needs to extend the boat launch so it works in low water conditions. We had to launch at the next site over.

We love camping at Eastlake, we go every year. This year we were disappointed to see that the flush toilets were not working, the gray water receptacles were overflowing. The three portable out houses were absolutely overflowing when we arrived there on Monday, 6 October. Hopefully the septic tank problem will be resolved on our next trip. Loved the service at the lodge restaurant as usual, food is wonderful.

We had a wonderful weekend! My grandson caught his first fish! The camp spot was a little uneven ..... and this spot does have a bit of powder dirt ... some spots are not as bad with wood chips down ...overall good camping spot!
