Hosts at EastLake were amazing. Very welcoming and handled all issues with grace and a smile. Very special place.Norah B

A great small campground that has generous campsites. The pumice shore was unique and beautiful. The campground was very clean and the host was super friendly and helpful!The only thing I wound warn people about is that in early July birds are nesting around the campground (especially near the shore trees) and they became very aggressive and kept dive bombing us and all the dogs. Very minimal mosquitos for early July. Also, be prepared for the weather, over the July 4th weekend there was only a high of 55 and chilly at night due to the elevation. And thunder storm warnings almost everyday.

Cool, damp, snow, and empty. Nice camp site next to Lake with great scenery to look at. It was nice to find out that several ham repeaters are reachable from this site.

East Lake campground is our favorite campground. We have reserved some sites in advance and we have obtained some sites without prior reservations. The restrooms are nice and clean. The lakeside sites are our first choice. The beach is a great place for kids to play.
