What a beautiful and clean campsite. I enjoyed my time there and the different trails near by. I would totally come back, I stayed at lot #4 right by the lake.

Dont tell anyone about East Lake in the Newberry caldera, because I dont want it to become so popular its impossible to get in. I love this place, and #4 is a good site right on the lake. Many good spots for a tent. All the sites on the lake are excellent. There are hot springs walking distance from the campground. (1st one is a little yucky, 2nd one is great!) Flush toilets were clean. Spectacular night sky. Ill definitely be back.

East Lake Campground has been a consistent favorite. A small campground right on the lake with flush toilets - such a great spot.

My friend and I camped there for three nights in late September - not crowded at all. We walked over to the lodge and had some really good burgers and fries for lunch. One day the wind was pretty cold coming off the lake so we made the short drive to Big Obsidian Flow and hike around the trail there. One day we drove up to Paulina Peak. It's said you can see three states from the top. I wouldn't know since the the road was so rough our car fell apart before we got there. This is a beautiful area with plenty of things to do. Highly recommended!

As usual, our stay at East Lake was wonderful. The water level is down pretty far, but boating is still possible. The number of people in the campground was down significantly, even though all the campsites were booked. All in all the trip was very relaxing, Looking forward to our next trip near Labor Day.

Beautiful location conveniently located near numerous hiking trails, close to Bend and Sunriver, and with all the benefits of lakefront access. Amenities were good, nice bathrooms for a campground. Only issue we ran into was the water at the campground being off periodically for an hour or two. Make sure to plan ahead with water storage in case it is off unexpectedly. If youre at a lakefront site, be prepared for some day trip crowds during the peak daytime hours that may get close to your camp (still worth it for the views).

Beautiful campground and site right on the lake. However, no water from about 2 in the afternoon to about 9 the next morning. Campground host off duty. Another couple told us it happens frequently

Because this campground is 100% reservable with no walk-ins, many sites were empty due to no shows and signs that said the campground was full. Please reinstate the walk-in availability. Thanks
